  1. I am so excited about tomorrow when I am going to see Journey, Fleetwood Mac and Earth Wind and Fire perform at CitiField in NY. It is a gift from my sister for my birthday earlier this month. Last summer we were going to see Peter Gabriel but she was out of town on business. So glad she could make this concert this year.

It should be awesome! Thanks, Sis.

I had a blast at the concert yesterday! I am still on an emotional high. All the bands were awesome. Fleetwood Mac and Earth Wind & Fire brought people to their feet. I never appreciated the song September as much as I did yesterday. Journey was great too. A part of me would have liked Steve Perry to be there. The lead singer sounded a lot like Perry especially early on but not when he sang Faithfully. The guitarist, who looks like a Bruce Springsteen twin, dedicated a song to Perry...  Stevie Nicks was great! I love her voice. She dedicated a song to Glenn Frye whose son Deacon was the lead singer for the Eagles in the Saturday portion of the Classic East. Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers also performed on Saturday. I wish I could have gone but it was my mom's birthday that day.

The concert went from 5pm to about 11pm. The place was rocking. There were at least 50,000 people there. The weather could not have been better. It was just great. This weekend I will share some pictures with you all. :)

I was going to post several pics but Photobucket is now charging to embed pics on 3rd party sites. :( paying is no big deal but it is the principle...

Let's see what some pics look like when I re-size them and post them from here...I am having a problem posting them but here is one. Doesn't he look like Bruce Springsteen.
