Moderation during Patriots game

As I'm sure we're all aware the Patriots games is coming up and given the events of the off season there's fair chance that tempers might run a little hotter than usual on the forum.

 

Let this then be fair warning to posters that we are going to be especially vigilant in enforcing the forum rules leading up, during and after the game. We'll have no compunction about limiting the posting privileges of those who step out of line. In case you're unaware of the rules they can be found here:

In short though:

• No baiting of, trolling of, or taking shots at other posters. There will no doubt be a fair degree of disagreement on things but this doesn't mean you have to resort to attacking other posters or groups of posters. Keep it civil. 
  
• Linked to the above, no "smack talk".


• No vulgarity or profanity, we're a family orientated site and don't allow such things. 


• No calling out people for breaking rules in the forums or calling out moderation for not banning people etc. There's nothing more frustrating to see a poster complain about the Mods not taking action about a post they haven't even taken the time to report. Please remember we're volunteers, we give up our own time to do this, and as such aren't always on the boards to react within a minute to a post. Help us out by using the report button. 

There is a pinned topic for everything related to the game in the buildup, please try and keep all pregame discussion in here and don't get offended if you post a topic that gets merged into it:

On Game Day itself there will be the usual Game Day topic and chat. Again please note these are going to be heavily moderated so be fair warned any misbehavior won't be tolerated.
