Those two are having exactly the impact, negatively, on our D as you described - but they were known entities with an established body of work so it's hard to blame the player evaluations when they left healthy.

Moore was so productive in Oakland they traded him for a 6th.

Nobody said he was sooooo productive, but let's not be revisionist in our history here.  He was a solid talent with a good body of work in his first 2 years and an easy to spot upside.  

 

So yes, he was productive enough to merit a 6th.  He fell out of favor with Del Rio and had been injured....standard stuff.

I'm not playing revisionist history.  He was a fairly high draft pick that people from afar thought was productive.  The guy who drafted him jettisoned him for practically nothing.  He didnt show much here, except for being slow and making tackles 5 yards past the line of scrimmage.
