yeah but he isn't going to go and spend 15 million a year on an OL or WR, he proved it already when he didn't go and sign Andrew Norwell who is an established pro bowl guard. He is spending close to the minimum. Don't get me wrong, I hope he does go crazy and spend to add to the line, or add to the defensive side of the ball because quite frankly I think with Grigsons screw ups, Lucks years are being wasted.

maybe not on the trenches but on the skill players?

Right now, it is nfl.com and based on how everyone is leaning, it is very likely in the evening. Were you referring to September 1st, since we have floated 3 days to gauge availability?

Yes, the money league i play in has a "in person" live draft at 1 pm on Sept. 1st.  What were the other two days (I missed the post of the dates)?  I looked back at the posts, I can do either 29 or 30th.

According to this, the Colts will have roughly 63 mil in cap space. My question is, how do they not have even more considering I can only think of 3 players making top dollar in Indy (Luck, Hilton, Castonzo).

With not spending hardly anything in free agency this past offseason, and we had roughly 70 mil if I remember right, how would we not have north of that come the 2019 offseason?

I dont think it's counting for the rollover yet.

I thought about Brissett, but I can't remember the last time I saw two QBs on the field for the same play.

Plus the defense would have to know it's going to be a pass of some kind with both of them out there because it would be insane to make your top 2 QBs block for a run play... right?

Unless Luck and Brissett create some sort of diversion on the side of the field near our sideline (like they're still talking to the coach and figuring out what the play is or something) while the direct-snap to Mack goes the other way when the defense is watching both QBs... then Mack hands the reverse to TY, who throws it backward to Brissett still waiting behind the LOS, who throws it to Luck who snuck up the sideline into the endzone in all the confusion after the snap... that's some trickeration right there.  That would be pretty exciting if it worked.  Kelly-to-Mack-to-TY-to-Brissett-to-Luck.  The Indy Special.  I like it.  Luck might need acting lessons to pull it off, but I like it.

I really like this pick. I was fine with just Fountain, but getting Cain is great. There will be a lot of competition at WR. Hilton is a guaranteed starter but WR2, 3, and 4 are all up for grabs. Chester Rodgers will have to prove himself.

I like Ballard's theme of drafting 2 guys at the same position. He is creating depth and competition simultaneously. This is brilliant drafting. So many fans talked about the starters we needed, but the Colts also lacked depth at just about every position. Ballard is doing in 2 drafts what Ballard failed to do in 5.

    You mean Grigson?

I’d prefer Michel. I like Chubb but he’s had a major injury. Yeah he’s healed up and close to his full abilities, but an injury is an injury. Running Backs have short shelf life’s and that major knee injury is major tread on the tires.

Play style while, I feel like Sony would fit Reich’s offense more.

Didnt Frank Gore tear his knees up in college?
