I could see the Broncos grabbing Chubb.

They have to consider the idea of having Garrett and Chubb terrorising opposing O-lines and QB's together.

It could be a kind of Freeney/Mathis 2.0 partnership, and that would be intruiging for them. I think.

But who knows if they grab Barkley or a QB. Who knows, maybe they'll even trade out of number 1, if they'll get a great deal, like maybe the Bills offering their two first rounders.

    Lots could happen.

Umm...Broncos have garrett???  When did they trade for Garrett?

I created a thread previously about Bruce Irvin and everybody shoved it aside saying no thanks which I wasn't of the same opinion. I sort of knew the big ones would get tagged. I knew Irvin would still be in play. Guy gets 6-8 sacks every year, can cover well , and he knows this defense in and out. If you're planning on moving Simon to OLB then Irvin makes some sense along with drafting Chubb. I think he'd do well on the Turf and having Mathis as a coach is a plus.

Now you can get an idea of why us "old timers" sometimes scoff at todays games. I miss those games played in the mud and snow on natural grass. (or what was left of it)  QBs were not protected like today. The players of today are a lot more athletic but the players of then were tougher.

The first player ever to sign a million dollar contract was Bruce Matthews in 1983 (a tackle who played 19 years) no less. The first QB who signed a million dollar contract was John Elway in 1883 after Bruce Matthews signed.

So that makes John Elway 135 years old?  I'm surprised that no one noticed that.

We let me take a look at the Jags. They went from a 3-13 team to a 10-6 team in one season. A division title. They lead the league in forced fumbles with 17. Their defense lead the league in completion percentage, passing yards per game, passer rating and defensive TDs. 2nd in sacks, interceptions and takeaways. They only allowed a league leading 16.8 points per game. They were the top rushing team in the league in rushing with 141 yds per game. They sent 6 players to the pro bowl.

Borttles threw for 3,687 yds. 21 Tds and 13 picks. An 84.7 rating. He also ran for 322 Tds, and 2 Tds.

Somehow Borttles don't look as bad as most think in this forum.

Playing on the Jags he does not have to be a great QB. The Jags made it to the AFC championship game and got beat by the Patriots like most teams do.

332 Tds O.o  That's got to be a record......Im sure you meant 332 YDS haha

Glad you’re back on the track.

Of course you do not have to reply, but I would be very interested in how the cartilage generated from your microfracture procedure performs; especially once you ar back in sport.

    Best to you.

So far it feels better than prior to surgery.  I just need to build my muscle strength back up which is the main issue right now (stability).   The doctor said it will take about 4-6 more weeks before it's fully healed while doing home exercises program.  I will know for sure how it feels late in April which is when softball starts back up in my area.

I was doing that on a BOSU ball. it sucks especially when you have instability issues. What surgery did u have ( you can pm me if you prefer) I'm sure ill be back on one again here soon. Had my evaluation for my 3rd  batch of PT today all for the same leg.

anthroscopy, meniscus tear, osteochondral defect (cartilage removed and shin bone drilled to create new cartilage), patellar subluxtation (kneecap dislocation) and mcl sprain, all from playing softball for 8 years.  I finished my physical therapy, and I should be back to running and jumping in about 6 weeks.  Just in time for the next softball season.

Just last wk Luck has yet to pick up a football so yes what is he throwing?  His answer even eluded to well not footballs but I am throwing something.  If your shoulder feels great, pick up a damn football for Pete’s sake but I’m sure they want to be cautious. Until Andrew Luck starts throwing regulated footballs 60 yds with no pain, just shut up & stop trying to convince ticket holders to step away from the ledge.  Fool me once shame on YOU but YOU won’t fool me twice!

Just got a wthr alert that reports: Andrew Luck throwing weighted balls that are heavier than footballs.
