  1. It wouldn’t surprise me if they took a C / G in round 3-5 Our RG spot is decent but not a star Our C spot has an awesome player that has 2-3 years left
  2. I was thinking that we would trade back to 20s and take AD Mitchell it is the lying season but people are starting to say he is a head case. Brian Thomas or Latu at 15
  3. Me too We can now afford Simmons and maybe another lower tier FA IMHO, there is no clear reason to do this, if you werent planning moves
  4. I am also a skeptic Would love to have the kid on the Colts, but I dont think the Bears will allow themselves to be fleeced I dont see it
  5. I agree with the concept, but until Richardson is a complete proven entity, I would not give up next year's 1st under any conditions Dallas Turner MIGHT be that guy to trade up for........ But he might just fall to us at 15 He would be a PR specialist until he added some NFL muscle
  6. Respectfully, per the stats, our defense was bottom 5. (IMHO) We need significant help on defense
  7. I am with you, I would be happy with best DL at 15, but also happy with WR / CB
  8. Aiyuk is awesome, but I am wondering if we would have so much of our cash tied to one position (WR)
  9. There is a wide wide range of views on Franklin I think he should be a consideration at 46 (If we go DL or DB in round 1)
  10. I am not as high on Worthy as others This offense needs a deep threat that is on the field during our offense running the ball. A common saying in college is that you won’t get the rock unless you can block Worthy is a so thin he is a liability when we would run the ball IMHO
  11. I could see the Colts taking Milton in round 5 or 6 I think he has potential to be number 2 QB on the Colts in a year or two He looks and moves like a carbon copy of AR He could learn from Flacco and from holding a clipboard
  12. I am a personal sceptic on trading up I think its probably MORE likely that we trade back, and get an additional 2nd (or 3rd) If we didnt have a QB to develop, or if there was a cant miss DE, I would think that Ballard would consider it. I dont see it in this draft We need a WR, and this draft is packed with talent (we can get our guy in round 1 or 2)
  13. There used to be a thing called presumption of innocence. Who knows what happened? I don't The legal system let him go. That's VERY important. I think the Colts (and NFL) should allow a time served situation and let him compete for a spot on the roster. I think he was a really good TE that was JUST starting to develop.
  14. I'm with you My personal hope is that they use the 1st on a WR or DE, but they MIGHT go CB I would actually like a trade back to pick in the late 20s and get the best WR or DL available
  15. He might be I think we need a stud WR or DE more, but I would be happy with the pick of Cooper Dejean
  16. It would be nice, but I dont see it
  17. I think we would have to trade back into the first to get him. (With our 2nd pick) I dont see the Colts giving up a first round next year to get back into the first I could see a trade back in round 1 to the 20s, but would grab AD Mitchell before I would take DeJean This will be an interesting draft We need to get a separation type WR We need to get a FS (FA probably) We need to add to the DL room We need to add to the OL room
  18. Agreed He is an "Aw shucks" midwestern kid, that I think appeals to Ballard Great work ethic, great performance in 2022 with 5 INTS In interviews, he doesnt want to have attention on him...... classy kid He is also 6' 1" and 207 lbs and can level the WR or RB in front of him He hits like a LB IF we go CB, he is my first choice He also can be a star FS for us as well, if we wanted
  19. We need a CB BUT If we plan on playing zone all the time his awesome talent might be wasted
  20. Until we have the stud DE I think you have to keep trying Supposedly Latu has passed all the medical concerns He has played 2 more years injury free since that year off I would be very happy with any of the 3 1st round DEs Jonah Ellis should be there at 46 as well if we go WR in round 1 He was injured much of last year and still posted great stats (12 sacks)
  21. Agree 1000% We can’t leave that role to a rookie In THIS defense
  22. I agree it could happen wide range of opinions mostly late second to early third
