I was honored to meet Dan after he we won the 500. It was so improbable that Hillebrand hit the wall on the last turn. Dan was so honored to win his second 500 crown. Never met a nicer guy and I was horrified when he crashed in Las Vegas. I can still see his face when I met him after the race he looked like a boy that got what he wanted for Christmas. I’ll never forget that face and I’ll see one day again when we get to heaven.

I agree he has done a great job building depth but he has picked questionable players that did not pan out. We let Gilmore leave and Brents was singed and ever though he has been mostly solid Gilmore was better at this time. The offensive line has been up and down and is not as good as what we are paying them. Injuries are not Ballards fault but I really think we need a new right guard and a center down the road. The WR room falls off fast after Pittman and Downs and we need a true #1 WR in the draft or free agency When healthy we are a solid team and that is on Ballard. But as everyone knows we are a few players away (Richardson) and new players from a deep run in the playoffs. I truly think we are playing with house money this season and its been fun to watch and see the effort put out. This draft will be very important I anxious to see what players Ballard and Co bring in and I hope its a top WR or CB

Based on the Colts, history of downplaying characters, probably more than 100 yards this Sunday we always seem to let a team that’s falling apart beat us

I really felt like the underestimated, the Bengals and New Orleans. Two games should’ve won but we fell apart. We cannot overlook Robinson and we need to make them one divisional. This could easily be a trap game. Hopefully they learned from earlier against we should have won.

We do have 4th place schedule and we played down to the Browns and Saints and lost. We barely beat NE and if it wasn’t for Kenny Moore we could have lost that game. The team needs focus on Atlanta and be flat

I like the no “moral wins” approach by Shane. Next man up but no excuses makes him a great leader. I’m still not giving up and at this team should make the playoffs. It would be very bad if do not reach the the playoffs

There must have 12k to 15k Steelers fans last night. When they scored it felt like they were louder than our fans. They were so cocky and it felt good when they got quiet due to our offense and defense. Go Horse
