Thanks guys...Adongo is one of the guys who alot of people will be watching, he can be a monster, if he can take those of the charts physical skills and translate them into plays, I think Richardson is also one that will be watched closely, he has rare physical skills, hard to believe he struggled that bad, for whatever the reasons were
I read that Mewhart was held out for precautionary reasons
-
Thortan played last year and struggled, the thinking is he needs more seasoning, Louis was productive starter, before he got injured, same with Thomas, I think Thomas is regarded higher than Louis and Mewhort was the top pick in the draft for a reason and has the toughness needed and wanted by the Colts, I was making an educated guess, could be neither of them start, could be Thortan. The linemen are expected to be able to play anywhere on the line and move around as needed, the best 3 players will be the starters, regardless of what their 'listed" position is....Mewhort might even end up a Center.

i appreciate the input blue stampede..good stuff! grigson had a great year #1 and a very dissapointing #2, doesnt have many draft picks, but lots of $$$$..we will see...............
-
i agree , do not think satele should be back, but i will be surprised if he isnt
-
i think its about time to quit using the bandaid approach on the o-line and find some quality players!! that was suppossed to be what last years draft was about and maybe they will develope in time???? wr wont be as big a need area with allen coming back as well, he was a huge loss
thanks for the input Kaptain Kod

so much for most likely,,,can't even believe I said that, when has most likely ever occured in the NFL.....the *s..... saturday night
-
2nd biggest comeback on NFL playoff history
-
congrads to Mathis on another pro bowl, Freemen SHOULD have been there as well, Sergio and Luck......played good enough, just didn't make it
-
we keep hearing about getting on a roll, at the right time-the end of the year- we appear to be on that roll and also seem to play our best games vs the best teams..we will see,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

i think a fine is too leniant, when a man displays the inability to function at his job (just like a player) he needs to be sent packing
-
I guess i am related to spock, if something isnt logical, i really dont want to hear about it or accept it
what does the guy think made him trip???
it was called...down, on the field...there has to be definite proof, to reverse that!!!!!
so we watch the game and watch triplett, act like he left his eyes and brain in the car
-
forgot to mention the unexcusable job by Tripplett, I know , we can't blame the refs, but he was blatantly wrong and I do not see how the league can overlook an obvious case of ......I have no idea what I am doing or talking about, and do not understand the rules of this game
-
I know hindsight is 20/20, Richardson was an all pro waiting to happen, when he was drafted and 2 years later, everyone is still waiting, makes me wonder if he is ever going to be that guy (not looking too promising) having that pick to address the O-line or WR, right now, would be great

not sure how a team can go from..... maybe the best in the league..to....?
take away Brown and those takeaways and it was another loss...and a game where there really wasn't much production, the offense is non existent, the defense is adequate at best and the special teams are below average.
what they do have is something.................that allows them to compete, when there is very little production...there is talent on this team, just doesn't show up often (lately)
-
Not sure if I made my point clear...when a team plays that bad for that long, it is usually lack of coaching, talent or effort, I am not really sure which of those options it is .....or most likely a combination of all of them.....which is really hard to digest, if that is the reason?
-
for the record: this was not intended to be a debate on who is or will be the better QB, I think Luck will go down as the best QB of all time (because he is the only QB I have ever seen who is the complete package/flawless) or if the scenario chosen was the best one, it was the chosen one and I can only speculate on what would have happened using another scenario....the point of the post was the principle of the decision..... when a person does that much and means that much...he is owed something, thats how I see it

hirst 1000, i knew what you meant, but my post was about what manning did for the team, city , state and league and how he was rewarded for those efforts.... it has nothing to do with andrew luck and the future of the colts
-
welcome to the usa hirst 1000, the legend was cut 1 1/2 year ago
-
dont really care to debate, but if anybody takes a real close look at the playoff losses, more times than not, it was the offense that didnt deliver ( the high powered, high priced offense) the defense was always average, the offense was lights out during the season and not so much, come post season, there were plenty of close calls...........a patriots defense that all but tackled colts recievers during a last minute attempt to score.......the leagues all time leading (pct) field goal kicker missing an easy f.g.......a QB tackling a DB when he had nothing but grass in front of him, the list goes on......a lot of plays that could have changed NFL history and some's legacies.....sometimes.....**it happens.
-
I get it, but lets just keep Luck while he is in his prime, when he gets older or gets hurt, then cut him and get another great QB and so on
-
I didn't mention anything about players who were let go, just compare the rosters from those 2 years, it was basically the same team.
enjoy the defense while you can, when Luck's rookie contract expires and he becomes the highest paid player in the league, it's right back to the Manning era, you pay 1 player that much money, your overall team talent is lessened due to lack of $$$$, which in my opinion why so many teams with very good QB's often beat the teams with a great QB, you have too much $$$ tied up in 1 player.......Roethlisberger-Eli-Aikman all have multiple super bowl wins and none of them were considered the best QB in the game
-
latest power poll has the broncos at #1 and the Colts at #3
-
i'll take a nailbiter any day, as long as we don't have too many 17-14 games..................boring lol
-
anxious to see the real Colts, seen totally different levels of play in 3 games, soon the pattern will be set
Who makes the cut?

alot of things happen that change the makeup of the roster, it seemed like we were loaded at that position with Chapman,Hughes,Pendleton,Kerr, McKinney...since that post Hughes had missed time due to the death of his child, Pendleton is on I.R, haven't really even seen McKinney get many reps....Kerr has (maybe) outplayed all of them, then again he isn't going against the other first teamers, as of now he seems to be a good bet to make the team..there are going to be some really good players, that don't make the cut this year
