I don't know who flipped the switch, but this team is really clicking on almost all cylinders
The offense has really been effective and balanced ever since they started running the hurry up...Luck has looked very sharp and is spreading the ball around to his many options and everybody has stepped up and contributed, Hilton has re-emerged and Whalen has been making key plays, Fleener has been so close to making big plays, but hasn't made (some of) them. The running game wasn't real sharp today, but it has been pretty good, for the most part and the O-line has played a lot better, during the 3 game winning streak, which is a big part of why they have looked so much better, it does all start...up front.
The defense has really stepped up...some guys have played great all year (Mathis,Freemen, Bethea) and some have done it in this stretch ( Werner,Butler) and McNary and Sheppard have filled in very well for Angerer, very good team defense with all 11 guys doing their part, getting pressure, creating turnovers and keeping the opponents out of the endzone. Great job by Moala and Mathews, stepping up for Redding and Jean-Francois.......without missing a beat
The reason I said almost all cylinders, is the coverage units have not been consistent, Whalen has looked great on returns and Adam has had one of his best years, McAfee has looked better,of late.
Playing this type of team football, with everyone contributing, playing mistake free football is a blueprint for success and going into the postseason on a roll..is huge
It looks like a rematch with the Chiefs, this time in Indy, next week, having just dominated them, at their place, just a few weeks ago, can only give the team more ......mojo
Great job , by the players and coaches for giving it their all....all year and turning it around , after a very lackluster stretch and making it to the postseason....if we play the Chiefs, it should be a very good, hard fought game, if we can get the win...the Broncos and *s...await...that is why we love this game
