  1. Just too limited with Minshew’s lack of arm power. Jax just earned the division win and Colts are relegated to playing for pride. This is my take. Sad.
  2. What the heck, Minshew, you can’t put it there. <face palm>
  3. Sure looked like intentional grounding on that first down.
  4. Since when do they blow it down when the D player jumps, but gets right back onside, when there’s no contact?
  5. Game this week vs the Jaguars, I think, will be determining in whether the Colts will legitimately contend for the playoffs or not. This game is a key inflection point. To again lose to the Jags pretty much eliminates the Colts from winning the division (unless the Jags subsequently collapse), whereas to beat the Jags puts the Colts solely into first place and the drivers seat.
  6. Moss > Hines, and to me, that was evident the very first time I saw Moss play a game for the Colts. JT and moss looking to be a great one two punch!
  7. Completely different circumstance though, mid 4th quarter down by 4, vs first half up by 4. Vrabel’s choice to go for it was understandable, though in my own mind I debated it, being that taking the 3 would put them down by only 1, needing only a FG to take the lead. But even if he took the FG, being that the Colts went down and got the FG, Titans would still need a TD, but for the win instead of a tie. Titans going for it late was much more sound, than Colts giving up early 3 gimme points to go up 7 in the first half. Ergo, it doesn’t really even out. Colts could’ve made it significantly less contentious by taking the first half easy 3. I just can’t agree with leaving easy points on the field, in the first half of a game.
  8. Great game! 3 points loomed large to the very end, but great win!
  9. I actually thought I read that the turf IS going to be replaced, but not until after this year.
  10. Would be a tie, not being behind, if you just take the freak’n FG points.
  11. Hope not, but I fear those 3 points sacrificed might be the difference in the game. These decisions to forego important points, early in games especially, drive me crazy!
  12. Gotta quit designing plays that result in AR taking hits getting tackled.
  13. Yes, but … in 2026 will JT and his agent again take a cruddy stance heading into the final year of the contract, like they did this year, or will he be of good attitude and play without complaint in 2026, honouring the final year of the contract, in the event he is not again immediately given an extension? That’s my question to him.
  14. That would be my question to JT, if your health and performance take you to 2026, will you honor the last year of your contract without all the trade / pay me more b.s.?
  15. So in essence, 3 yr plus this year for total of 4 years, averages out to around $12M per year, with about half guaranteed. Sounds about right.
  16. Totally fair at this juncture, for sure. Hopefully after the next 4 games, though, the Stroud / AR relative ranking will reverse.
  17. Over at NFL.com, in this week’s QB rankings, they rate AR as 17th, one slot ahead of Trevor Lawrence! They ranked Stroud 13th, and Bryce Young 27th. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-qb-index-week-5-josh-allen-claims-no-1-spot-dak-prescott-trending-up From the write-up on AR, “He's a legitimate Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate after one month.”
  18. As down on JT as I have become (can’t remember ever being so disappointed in a player during my 56 years of fandom), I have to admit I am VERY excited for JT’s return! I sure hope his head is now screwed on straight and he totally brings it for the remainder of the season. <fingers crossed>
  19. The stupid out of bounds hit on Stafford resulted in 7 points against instead of the 3rd down stop and getting the ball back. The helmet on helmet on defenseless receiver penalty. The AR fumble. The missed FG. 4 plays that cost the win, but kudos for the comeback. Defense just couldn’t get it done in OT. Team has to jump out to faster starts, moving forward.
  20. Just saw a graphic on one of the pregame shows saying JT WILL be activated on Wednesday.
  21. “Wanting” a raise and “asking” for a raise is one thing (two things, actually. lol), but whining when told mgmt. would like to evaluate your next year performance then work out a raise, saying you don’t want to work here anymore ‘cause your demand was not met, and potentially violating one’s employment contract is an entirely different thing. JT’s desire is perfectly understandable, but his polarizing stance is unconscionable.
  22. ESPN’s rankings are much more realistic, not just the author’s wishful thinking.
  23. Sadly, on Sunday I’ll be driving on a road trip from Winnipeg to Minneapolis, so I won’t be able to watch the Colts victory over the Rams, live as it happens. I will be listening on Sirius XM, though.
