Looks like we could have the advantage, because Pat Shurmur wants to call his own plays, whereas Reich will probably delegate the responsibility to his OC. 

 

A choice between calling your own plays or not calling them is not too difficult to make. 

 

Therefore, if Bevell does sign a deal with the Giants then "it would appear" he did so because we passed on him. 

 

I like that both Darrell Bevell and Frank Reich ran the West Coast offense. They already speak the same language.
