What Do You Know About This Guy, Bob Sutton?

He has been defensive co-ordinator for the Jets. Once Rex Ryan became head coach, he was retained as senior defensive assistant. His experience seems to be pretty good, IMO.

Does anyone else know more about him? Could he be someone we could look at to replace Teerlink?

I honestly never heard of him. But a senior defensive assistant to replace Teerlink to become a defensive line coach wouldn't make sense.

Edit: I see that he is also linebacker coach. Now it makes a bit sense.

Larry Coyer did. After being fired as Denver's DC, he became D-line coach for the Bucs. Another case was Rod Marinelli, who started off as D-line coach for the Bears, and is now DC. Besides, as I pointed out, Sutton was the Jets' DC from 2006-2008.

Oh yeah, he's the guy the Colts are trading Manning for to the Jets.
