Awful article on why Luck will have a sophomore slump

You got that right ...  and that is exactly why Arians ran out and snagged Carson Palmer over any of the other "potentials" ..

He knows the position is of paramount importance.     Esp the way BA wants to play.

andrew luck makes the offensive coordinator, not the other way around

The only reason there may be  a small cause for concern is that, although Pep's well familiar with Luck, this is his first year as offensive coordinator at the NFL level and, like rookie players, rookie coaches also have a learning curve to adjust to their new position. Even Pagano hasn't coached a full 16 game slate yet.

I don't think Luck will have a prolonged season long slump, but it's important to be patient as Hamilton, as well as the rest of our young team, develops. There will likely be bumps along the road, and that's to be expected. But the arrow's pointing up on us, and that's the important thing.

Andrew doesn't have to attend Stanford this summer to graduate like last year. Hes got a full off season, and the offense had a major make over / upgrade during FA/draft to say the LEAST.

Only downside might be the schedule being more challenging but are people really thinking he'll under perform?

I know it shouldn't be this simple but how is it not? He will be better.

The loss of Bruce Arians as the team’s offensive coordinator is going to hurt Luck more than people may imagine. He is going to be on his third offensive coordinator in the last three years, and there will be an adjustment period
