I’m in Newport, KY (across the river from Cincinnati,) tonight at a concert and each time a Bengals fan yells “who dey” at me I answer “6-6” and I’m not getting any responses. 😂

Well, the Lakers came by it honest last night. Another playoff-like matchup with the Pacers Vs LeBron. We’ve earned the right to send him home. At least once. I think they’re going to push the pace even more than usual and try to wear the Lakers down tomorrow night. My wife and I are going down to a show in Newport, KY tomorrow night or I’d be headed to the Fieldhouse to watch the game at the event they’re doing there.

I’ve said all summer there was no reason this team shouldn’t compete for the 8-5 spots in the playoffs, but they look well ahead of schedule on that and that could wind up being a conservative estimate. That combo of tempo and shooting is going to be hard to contend with over a 7 game series.

The refs already gave LeBron 1 win this week. I’ll be real curious to see if they do it again tonight and set up a 7 on 5 showdown for us Saturday. It’s about to get exciting though. The Pacers have arrived. They’ve beat the rest of the league over the head with our arrival this week.

I’ve been a reader at least that long, but I didn’t actually join until ‘06 or ‘07. I was a member of a real good NFL general forums and I spent my time there until the admin (we assumed,) passed away and the website and all that stuff lapsed. Even with the rise of other platforms like FB and Reddit I’d still rather come here to talk Colts football than anywhere else.

It’s going to be hard not to back our way in at this point with this cupcake of a schedule. But I fully expect to be bounced WC weekend.

How healthy is Higgins? He caught all of his targets last night, of which there were just 3. If he’s still not 100% I feel much better than I do if he’s not working with any kind of limitation. Coverage is something we’ve struggled with, and this is one of the best WR duos in the league we’re going down there to face. Those guys can bail him out and make him better than he is, so the way we’re going to handle them is just as important as the way we handle him will be. Definitely gotta keep the sacks coming.
