The 2023 Colts season has been dedicated to growing our new franchise QB and putting him in a position to "live long and prosper" in the NFL. They've welcomed back Jonathan Taylor with a new contract - which should make life easier. The offensive line is playing well this season - even when the back-ups have had to play due to injuries. I like the "game plan" they've put in place for AR - and - our team in general. Practice patience grasshopper - the wait will be worth it!!

As I've said all along - the Colts NEEDED TO KNOW that Jonathan Taylor was FULLY RECOVERED from his ankle injury & surgery. I wish everyone involved would have practiced a little patience and "zipped their lips" until the "due diligence" was done. Gregg Doyel can "kiss my grits" with his anti-JT rhetoric!!

Accuracy was one of the concerns on Anthony Richardson coming out of college. Give him a break - he has only played a total of 16 "big boy" football games. This season is about "growing" our new franchise QB. I can be patient and enjoy watching his growth!!

The Colts vs Titans is likely a "regional game" rather than a "national game". The Colts vs Titans will be shown in our local markets - and - the Texans game will not be shown here as a result. Patriots vs Saints sounds like a crappy matchup too.

If all of our injured players are able to play - I predict a win. If not - iffy - but - possible. I'll take the crowd at LOS plus Gus Bradley "bringing the heat" on Ryan Tannehill to help keep the Titans in check. Colts win - doesn't matter the score - a win is a win is a wind!! TAME THE TITANS!!

I remember this game very very well. While disappointed with the way the game was going - I have learned to never say never as an NFL or Colts fan - I was one of the die-hards who stayed up until the scoreboard showed triple zeros. OMG - Am I ever glad I did. I was yelling - screaming - and - jumping up and down. My cats were running for cover. Just an amazing birthday present for Coach Dungy - and - an amazing comeback for the Colts!!!

I'll "kick off" the responses. I am currently 3 - 1 and second in my fantasy league.

The Colts won't "open his 21-day window" until he is cleared to resume practice. It is my understanding that the plan is to use him in the down-field passing game. He's on the reserve list of my fantasy team. Time will tell.

Anyone who was silly enough to think that JT would be answering questions about his chaotic off-season will be disappointed. There was LOTS of blame to be passed around for the chaos. At this point - he will be focused - and - to the point - which is - HE IS AN INDIANAPOLIS COLT for at least the 2023 season. PERIOD.

This is a HOME GAME!! This is a DIVISIONAL GAME!! Shane Steichen is an AWEmazing play caller!! Gus Bradley should be "bringing the heat" against an ineffective Ryan Tannehill. The crowd will be amped for a win after nearly upsetting the Rams!! Anthony Richardson is ELECTRIC to watch!! JT may (or may not) make his season debut leading to a "JT & ZACK ATTACK" moving forward!! What's not to like about all of these factors??

We've reached the "quarter pole" of the 2023 regular season. What is YOUR fantasy team's record after 4 weeks?

True - but - unlikely. Chris Ballard hasn't been open to trading multiple high-round draft picks for one player - and - I don't see him doing that for Marv Jr. After all - he DID NOT "trade up" to draft a new franchise QB - and - wide receiver is a safer position to draft. We can - however - keep our fingers crossed.

This is one time that I have to question Chris Ballard's decision to trade Stefon Gilmore to the Dallas Cowboys from 16 beans and a quart of chocolate milk. We had the cap space - but - had NO experienced CB's and no depth. :(

At the "quarter pole" - I'm going to have to say Matt Eberflus #1A - and - Josh McDaniels #1B. It's very possible that both are fired during the season.
