    <p>
    I have been a diehard Colts fan for over 40 years and hopefully have at least another 30 in me? I am a native New Yorker who moved to Florida in 2008 and never looked back. My Father was a diehard Colts fan and he passed it on to me and I am grateful for that, may he rest in peace....

  1. RIP Tom Petty.....one of my all time faves.  I had seen him play a few times but none was as good as at The Jones Beach Amphitheater in 1985...thunder and lightning coming off the angry Atlantic ocean in his background and after two delays........he just played his heart out in the rain!  He began it with this song...

      For Tommy...

      Quality musicians are the closest thing to a spiritual connection we have in this chaotic world of pain, turmoil, uncertainty. May you travel smoothy to the afterlife Tom.

      The Man In Black doesn't cow tow to anybody. He just makes classic Petty covers his own as only Cash can.

      For me to buy a Soundtrack disc, it must be top notch. The movie "She's The One" left a lot to be desired. However, tracks like 'Hope You Never' showed Petty's range or ability to compose memorable cinematic scores. As a debut, it's very impressive.

      Writing a score is a whole different animal from an album because the composer must provide the audience with emotional depth, feeling, & convey human emotion from bliss, to rage, to despair.
