      Don  McLean got stuck with such a huge hit in American Pie he never reached anything close to it the rest of his career. He did have a modest following and those fans are dedicated enough he made enough money as a singer to live pretty comfortable. He was recently arrested for domestic abuse and according to his wife has a history of than. True or false who knows.

      He lives in Maine and that is where the domestic violence originated....not sure if he is guilty or not.  But he is a one hit wonder to me....which is one more hit than I ever had...lol!

      You're right, RR7.  I don't know his other music. Since my sister knew a lot of his songs, I thought he must have had more hits. Guess not.
