It isn't right but the REFS never call PI on Hail Mary's. They probably should because that is technically PI. Our situation was different.

From 2003-2009 when Ron Winter was head referee, we were 1-8 (1-9 counting the playoffs). Only win we had was over Denver in 2009 and Denver was a bad team. Explain how a team goes 89-23 over that time frame but 1-8 when a particular Ref calls the game?? I always thought ol' Ron had a vendetta against us. He REF'd the 2008 playoff game when we played at San Diego. That was the famous game where the Chargers had 3 penalties and we had 12. Dwight Freeney was being held all game and the dufus REF let it go all game.

World Series all tied at 1-1. D Backs got the win last night. I think this is going 7.

Pacers 2-0, we look like we might have a high-powered offense. We spanked the Cavs by 12 on the road. Haliburton may end up being SuperStar before it is all said and done. He is easily an All-Star.

Before the season started, I posted in here that he would start playing good around week 8 or 9, so I am on the cusp of that right now. The last 2 weeks he is looking better to me and faster. He had 5 tackles at Jacks, 3 last week vs the Browns + almost an intercepted a pass. Why anyone would expect him to play like he did in 2021 until he had many games under his belt, wasn't realistic. A few in here posted that he would never play another game, that alone has aged badly. Give it 2 or 3 more games and we will see where we are at.

Yep, that would have been right up there with game of the year. It had so many great twists and turns, it was exciting, high scoring, and the REFS ruined it. It felt like a Playoff game.

I can't remember the last time it took me a week to get over a loss (it is the way we lost because we really won). I even contemplated not watching the rest of the season after the way we got cheated. Since Luck retired 2019-now, when we have lost, I usually get over it by Tuesday night. When Peyton and Luck played and we lost, it would take me until Thursday or Friday to get over it because I always expected to win. Anyway I am over it now and just have to accept we lost last week, nothing will change it. I love football too much to quit watching but I will stand by my opinion that the REFS alter certain games during a season to help other teams. I don't think it is fixed, but altered at times. To this week, it is a big week because we still have a golden opportunity to salvage the season. If we can get to 4-4, we are in the thick of a Playoff race at that point. Then we play the hapless Panthers next week so despite last week, this isn't over yet. I voted: 1. Win, you don't tank for a better draft pick unless your season situation shows you have a 0% of making the playoffs with a few games left or start 0-8 like in 1997 and 2011. Tanking is a losers mentality. 2. I voted 27-37 (I have the Colts winning 27-20) 3. Colts will win this one, Carr has become an average QB and they have no game changer on defense like Myles is. Their Coaching is suspect as well. 4. I voted, I am not sure.

If we win tomorrow, I think we make a move in either trying to get another WR or a Corner. A win puts us at 4-4 and the 2 games after that are real winnable. 4-4 puts us right in the Wildcard hunt.

Re-read my post, I never said AR was having a better season than Stroud before he got injured that put him out for the year. I specifically said, he was outplaying Stroud when they played Houston, we were up 14-0 and AR had 2 Rushing TDs, Stroud even had a costly fumble. I was talking about that 1 game. Also if Hopkins had a QB that could get him the ball, his numbers would be good this year. He has been healthy all year.

With me the Jury is still out on how good Purdy really is. So far he has been great, making nice throws, putting up decent stats and was even 10-0 as a starter at 1 point. The last 2 weeks he has came back down to earth a little. With me I never anoint any QB until I have seen him play good-great for at least 3 seasons. Like with Stroud, everyone is on his jockstrap right now and he has only played 6 games. AR was even outplaying him in the game at Houston before he left with a supposed concussion. I need to see where AR and Stroud are after season 2. RG3 looked as good if not better than Luck after 1 season and that didn't age well at all.

Bad calls happen, this has been going on for the 47 years I have been watching anyway lol. So for me, blaming the REFS is usually a cop out excuse. I usually take a loss and move on. It is when it goes overboard for 1 team, that is where I have a huge problem and it did Sunday.

There are 2 really good Corners coming out this year in Kalen King and Kamari Lassiter. Both are projected to go in the Mid-1st round. If we pick around 16-20, those 2 both might be there.

Yeah that was bad and it was for a SB trip but last week was 2 bad calls in the last minute that flat out gave the game to the Browns. It left our defense helpless.

It sucks really because to me by my test, he was playing good football overall. Not turning it over, making key throws in tight windows, and had 4 Rushing TD's.

Sucks about Brents, our Secondary is really the only group that scares me as far as not being consistently good. I wish we still had Gilmore, but we don't.

Glad Friday is finally here, it has been a long week for Colts fans! We need a win to help me forget about last week.

I hear ya. Had that been a playoff game, that would have been a really bad look. I probably would have broke this lamp I got on my office desk. It has been bothering me for a while anyway

I watched the Lakers game last night and 2 calls got overturned, both against LeBron. So if it can happen in the NBA vs the so-called King, I know the NFL can do something different.

There is always a handful people that would rather be right, than see the Colts win with a QB they didn't want. So they can say, see I told you so. Before AR's injury, he was outplaying Stroud and we were up 14-0 at Houston. Once Stroud had a couple of good games, there were some in here saying, - see we should have traded up and took him. He is way better. Bottomline is, we don't even know if Stroud will better than AR in the long run. He has played 6 games. All I know is we had a chance to take Levis but took AR instead and all the other teams passed on Levis too. They must know something we don't in here. Hell, last week the Titans were playing Willis instead of Levis and Willis is terrible. From the games I have watched Levis play in college, he didn't impress at all and his attitude comes off really bad, like his crap doesn't stink type of attitude. I am happy with AR and I have good feeling that he is going to have a good year in 2024. My uncle lives in KY and watched every game Levis played last season and he thinks he will be a bust. He is a Titan fan and hated it when the Titans took him.

Did it ever dawn on you, that maybe the reason why we have better numbers as a whole is because of our QB play? AR and Mustache both have actually played good for the most part, Tannehill hasn't. I would love to have Hopkins even at his age. When AR has been in and played, we have outscored teams 71-70. Mustache fits our system well, he has been accurate quite a bit and finding guys open for a lot of yards. Point is if Levis is good, guys like Hopkins should start having better numbers, Henry should be able to run better as well because defenses will have to respect their pass, etc..

I thought it was over. Then Spero said there is a flag down, even after we recovered the ball. I was thinking 'WHAT FOR'! I couldn't figure it out and the REFS even took a minute. I was thinking they will pick the flag up and we get to 4-3, hell of win. Then the nonsense started to kick in. They called another one after that, that Yao Ming wouldn't have a chance to catch. I am venting now but it was awful!
