  1. Look at these QB's coming out, assuming Caleb Williams comes out: 1. Caleb Williams - USC 2. Drake Maye - North Carolina 3. Michael Penix - Washington 4. Bo Nix - Oregon 5. J.J. McCarthy - Michigan 6. Quinn Ewers - Texas -this draft is loaded with good-great QB's.
  2. Regarding the Colts, I think we should go Corner. Kalen King and Kamari Lassiter both are out there. Both look like they could go mid 1st round. We need a #1 corner.
  3. It very well could, because of that Bull we could miss the playoffs by 1 game.
  4. Cards are currently picking 2nd - They are mocked at getting Marvin Harrison.
  5. I pretty much said the same thing above. When it comes to Nick, you can't compromise with him, he loves to argue for some reason.
  6. Yeah the bogus call on Fries was really bad as well, it just gets overlooked because that nonsense that took place at the end of the game. You are right though, if the hold isn't called, we have a 1st down at the 20 and the block FG probably never happens. That block FG was a 10 point swing.
  7. Sure he would but he is being mocked to go 2nd in the draft.
  8. Right now as of today, WalterFootball top 5's mock is: 1. Caleb Williams QB (Bears) 2. Marvin Harrison WR (Cards) 3. Laiatu Luta DE (Bears) 4. Drake Maye QB (Broncos) 5. Keon Clark WR (Giants) They have Harrison going 2nd.
  9. To your 1st sentence, I don't. I just think tanking is a loser's mentality unless you have a team that flat out stinks and you know for sure you are going to get a top 5 pick. A team like we had 1997 and in 2011 for example. There has only been 3 times in my 40 season fandom where I didn't mind if we lost, that was in 1997 once we got to 0-8 because I knew Manning was coming out, 2011 once we got 0-8 because I knew Andrew Luck was coming out at #1, and the last game of last season which would secure a pick in the top 4. Those are rare circumstances. In each case we needed a franchise QB. Once we got to 0-8 in 1997 and 2011, the season was over so at that point winning didn't matter, knowing the QB's that were coming out. We have a good enough team this year to possibly make the playoffs and we already drafted our franchise QB last season, so what is the point of tanking this season? You might as well forget about drafting Marvin Harrison because he will go top 3.
  10. I voted A. Quick word of advice, when you do a Poll, I would suggest you show what poster is voting for what. I was told to do this many years ago, most people like to see who voted for what. Thanks for your cooperation.
  11. I would rather make the playoffs every year because winning is fun and it also shows we are a relevant team by doing so - not a team that other fanbases just laugh at, and still pick high, like around 20th. Then eventually you may win a SB. To me unless you are picking #1 in the draft and have a Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck coming out, picking 10th or 20th isn't much different. The 20th player picked in the draft could easily be better than the 10th player being drafted. You should root for your favorite team to win not lose unless like I said, you have the #1 pick that can change your franchise. This is why some of your take's blow me away. I could not imagine watching a game with you and you rooting for another team to beat us because you want a higher draft pick. I don't have any friends that I watch with or have been to games with that have ever thought like that. I mean if all people are hoping for is a high draft pick every year what the purpose of even watching every week? That is basically hoping we lose every week. Then if we are start off 1-5 the next season, you are in the same position again of hoping for a high draft pick again. What fun is that? Might as well just watch the draft and hope we lose every week.
  12. I hope have the Peyton come out this week because if it is the Painter, goodbye first place
  13. I am an optimist, but I am also going to keep it real. After losing this past week, we have backed ourselves into a corner. I felt we got cheated but it doesn't matter because we are 3-4 now, nothing is going to change that. In order to make the playoffs I think we need to win the next 3 games. All are winnable games is why and that would put is 6-4. 6-4 compared 5-5 is huge because our schedule gets harder after that.
  14. My main key omission would probably be Julius Erving. To me he was the greatest ABA player of all-time, he was a great NBA player but not like he was in the ABA. He never won a Championship in the NBA until Moses Malone joined them in 1983. Reggie belongs on this list because he never had near the help many others had that won a Championship. He carried the Pacers for nearly 2 decades and the Pacers came close several times. Only 3 players I have on my list that didn't win a Championship are Reggie, Charles Barkley, and Karl Malone. All 3 had something in common, they all lost to Jordan's Bulls. Reggie lost to the Bulls in the ECFinals 4-3 (1998), Barkley lost to the Bulls in the Finals 4-2 (1993), and Karl Malone lost to the Bulls twice (1997 and 98) in 6 games. Jordan was just Godly. I never thought anyone could be better than Magic, but then he came along.
  15. I was going over all the NBA players that have played since the merger from the ABA in 1977. From their stats, accomplishments, the way they changed the game, their leadership, and by my eye test - my new revamp top 20 Just NBA players what a player has done since the 1977 season (since 1977) are: 1. Michael Jordan 2. Magic Johnson 3. LeBron James 4. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar - he still belongs here, he won 2 League MVP's (77 and 80), a Finals MVP (85), and 5 Championships since 1977 + has been the best Center since 1977. 5. Kobe Bryant 6. Larry Bird 7. Shaq O'Neal - Most dominant Center I have ever seen inside of 5 feet. 8. Stephen Curry - Greatest shooter of all-time. 9. Tim Duncan 10. Hakeem Olajuwon 11. Isiah Thomas (Pistons) 12. Dirk Nowitzki 13. Moses Malone 14. The Joker @Jared Cisneros- he is already here IMO 15. Kevin Durant 16. Karl Malone 17. Dwyane Wade 18. Charles Barkley 19. Giannis Antetokounmpo 20. Reggie Miller - 2nd greatest shooter of all-time. Led his team to 6 Conference Finals and a Finals with 1 team.
  16. We disagree'd on 5 games this week. This is a big week for the standings.
  17. We only disagree'd on 1 game. You got the Jags, I have the Steelers.
  18. After last week, I need a piece of mind. A perfect week for me would be the Jags, Titans, Texans, and Browns all losing while we win. That will help me sort of forget this past week. A browns loss helps because they are going to be in the thick of the Wildcard all season now after this past freakin' week.
  19. I hope your Panthers pick is right eventhough I took the Texans. Texans losing would help us bigtime.
  20. Damn, we disagree'd on 5 games this week. Interesting!
  21. My uncle watched every game Kentucky played last year, he lives in Kentucky. He is a huge SEC guy and he told me that Levis would be a bust. I even seen 3 or 4 games he played in as well and he didn't impress at all. I guess we will see. When the Titans drafted him, my uncle was so mad it was hilarious, he is also a Titans fan.
  22. I actually don't think you are Troll but I knew I could get you to respond to my Homer post. You have had several takes I don't agree with but that doesn't make you a troll, I was just messing with you
  23. After what happened last week, I am not going to guarantee anything but in reality, the Colts are playing well enough where they should win their next 3 games. We have the Saints here, at Carolina, and then the Pats. If we win all 3 games that would put us 6-4 going into the Bye. Very much alive for a playoff spot. I have a feeling this last game vs the Browns is going to screw us in the end, and we finish 9-8 but don't have any tiebreakers.
  24. AR is better but that is my opinion. I was so relieved we didn't draft Levis.
