  1. I would have thrown a fade to Pierce, but hindsight is easy.
  2. As of now per the Kevin Bowen show, we have a 56% of making the playoffs. Jags losing keeps the door open for winning the division. We at least now have a 25% chance of winning the division, I heard that on the NFL Newtork this morning. If we beat Cincy, that pretty much takes care of them, winning last night won't matter for them. It is in our hands which I like. We control our destiny to the playoffs. That is all you can ask for through 12 games.
  3. Yeah, it was the right call, I agree 100%. If we get it, we are up 7 late. That takes pressure off of us knowing even they score a TD and kicked the point; it is just a tie game at that point. The INT for the 2 points was a fluke, that happens maybe once or twice a year in a whole season.
  4. Thanks for your service. 27 years is impressive.
  5. Moe snicked his picks in while I was ranting . I am not sure yet about my picks?
  6. I do want to add, I changed my post to I sort of agree with Jvan, because I feel like if I say I agree with him 100% that I am shortchanging the good to great people of our fanbase. I will stick with my 70% = good-great, 30% = just don't get it which is too many. These are JMO's and some may hate my style for being too positive at times, it is what it is. I am critical of the team when they play bad though, so I try and at least find a balance. If the team stinks, I will say so. I just want the Colts to win. Magic Johnson was one of my favorite players growing up and he used to say that all that matters is winning. If win 7-6 I will take it.
  7. Here is the schedule for week 14 Thursday Pats at Steelers Sunday Bucs at Falcons Lions at Bears Colts at Bengals Jags at Browns Panthers at Saints Texans at Jets Rams at Ravens Vikings at Raiders Seahawks at 49ers Bills at Chiefs Broncos at Chargers Eagles at Cowboys Monday Night Titans at Dolphins Packers at Giants Cards and Redskins have Bye weeks.
  8. Same here, you are a truefan and a good poster. I am 52 years old and already feel like this lol. All the running I used to do for 20+ years has caught up to me.
  9. I voted never wavered. I think he is good, not great. Around the 15th best GM in the league (top half). If AR becomes a franchise QB, it will waiver to him being better. I will say this, signing Minshew was a great move. With Sam, this team would be 4-8 at best. At least this season we are winning games again.
  10. I love that last option. = I'll hate the guy even we win back to back Super Bowls.
  11. If they are like that in real life, I honestly feel bad for them. Going through life just looking at the negative things and not being able to enjoy life when something good/positive happens is a mental illness IMO. I would never be around a person like that, they can ruin your time whether it be watching a game or being at party, etc.. I have known people like that and have avoided them at work, at party's, or when I was in school even, etc..
  12. Watch, if we win the division now, there will be many that say that we only won it because Lawrence got injured. Sad but comical at the same time. Yet we lost AR, Taylor, Grover, Brents for a lot of the season and even got cheated out of a game vs the Browns.
  13. There are some in here that won't be happy with our play no matter what. We could win the SB and there would still be a few say, we got lucky or had an easy road, etc.. You would think after winning 4 in a row that everyone would be happy. We have overcome a lot to get to 7-5. Lost AR for the season, Taylor has missed a lot of time, Grover has missed a lot of time, Brents has missed a lot of time, we cut Leonard, and we even got cheated out of game vs the Browns. I sort of agree with what @jvan1973said over a month ago. He said most of our fans are entitled spoiled brats - to that affect. Many piled on him, but he isn't lying because Peyton and Luck won so much and made it look easy, that spoiled a lot of people. Winning is tough in the NFL, to win 4 in a row is great in any year. I would say 70% of our fanbase is outstanding in here and I get along with about everyone, it is that 30% (which is still too many) that has me going
  14. Cincy played a hell of a game last night, but we do get Grover back and I doubt Browning plays like he played last night. I would be surprised. This Morning, Coach Shane said, Grover is ready to go, no holding back.
  15. - you have to admit this is fun, the season is flying by. I love these kinds of threads because it strays away from the negativity in here and we can joke with another without anyone getting upset. I want to win but if I don't, whoever does I will be happy for them and congratulate them on picking outstanding. It isn't like we are playing for money either, so it is just like entertaining competitive. So far on my weekly bets, which I have made 2 on games each week with point spreads involved = 24 games total either $50 or $100 on a game, I am still $100 ahead. It is better than being behind, but I see why it is hard for people to get rich when they bet on games with spreads involved. $100 is $100 though and I will take it. I have made 2 college bets all year ($100 each) and I have broke even. I had Deion winning 6 games, I lost that but got my money back by taking Michigan over Ohio St and giving up the 3.5 points. Michigan won by 6.
  16. Heading into Week 14, standings: 1. @2006Coltsbestever127-66 2. @EasyE126-67 3. @chad72125-68 4. @Moe121-72 5. @w87r118-75 6. @Chrisaaron1023117-76 6. @VikingsFanInChennai117-76 7. @RollerColt116-77 8. @coltsva114-79 H. Mention- @Solid84100-61, (missed 1st 2 weeks =32 games so overall 100-93). A missed game is a loss. 193 games played. We started the stretch run this past Sunday which is December and January. Good luck everyone moving forward.
  17. I love that GIF, that was me on Sunday. Just joking. I have a feeling these last 5 weeks are going to go back and forth. You and Chad both have been outstanding. The others have even picked well. So much knowledge in here. I have had a couple of duds this year and so has Chad. It happens.
  18. It would be hard to argue against that because he has done it most of the year with a backup QB and his star RB being sidelined. Hell yesterday, Moss only had 51 yards on 19 carries and we still managed to control a lot of that game. 1 drive we had, was over 10 minutes. It was short creative passing play calls that was huge.
  19. If I was a young coach and I had my choice to coach a team, I would choose the Chargers. I would turn that city of LA into a Chargers city! They have Herbert is why. Yeah, I have given Herbert a hard time, but he has great talent. I would put Herbert in situations where he could succeed and maybe even let him call his own plays in crucial moments of a game. My ego isn't that big where I would need to control what Herbert does at all times. They also have some good defensive players. Staley is gone, how that team is 5-7 is embarrassing. Only way he saves his job is if they get hot and make the playoffs, I don't see it. Other coaches that are history are: Belichick - top 5 coach ever but the game has passed him by. The Pats need a new face there. Rivera Eberflus Allen - if they don't win that division Bowles Tabor - The Panthers won't want an interim Coach. A good place for Bienemy to go would be the Chargers. He helped coach Mahomes for years and he would have Herbert. + he knows the ends and outs of the KC playbook. Belichick could also lean on Herbert and teach him different things. There was a rumor that the Commanders were interested in Belichick. Sam Howell is young and he is better than Mac Jones.
  20. Thanks for the report, that is huge news. When we play Pitt, that is a gigantic game.
  21. It is too early of a sample size to determine how any of these QB's will turn out. I mean it looks like Stroud is a Homerun but who knows? Trevor Lawrence had a terrible rookie year, now he is good. Peyton as a rookie was flat out bad, yes Peyton who IMO is the 3rd greatest QB of all-time.
  22. I preach that every week. As in, it is not easy to win the NFL. We made it look easy for years when we had Peyton and then Luck, but those days are over so many need to understand that.
  23. That is fair, Stroud still threw for a lot of Yards against us. Reason we beat them, we got to him and sacked him 6 times. It rattled him early and they got in a hole to deep. Jackson might win MVP this year - he's been solid the whole year, so I disagree with you on Jack.
  24. Everything is up in the air. In a 1 game situation, it is the team that makes the winning plays at the end. Also you have to win the Turn Over battle, can't play sloppy.
