  1. I heard on NFL Radio he has to be Active for 6 games to get credit for this year.
  2. In the 1970s I hauled Army Tanks from Letterkenny Army Depot, Carlisle Pa- to Fort Bliss, El Paso, Tx.
  3. I’ve never been on Twitter, but Musk said in interviews that he uses the blue check to show that an actual person posted. Musk has said thatPrior to him buying Twitter, during Election time and during Covid that almost half of the postings were Bots, and not by an actual human. Made to look like far more posters had an opinion than actually did. He did this to get actual numbers and force the fakers off his product.
  4. He was drafted as an OT. Played four times as much Tackle at Penn St as he played OG.
  5. I’m a truck driver. I delivered to Michael Porter Sr when he was an Assistant at U of Missouri. His kids were there (Jr was probably about 12?) passing a football. I picked up the ball and told Jr to go deep (I USED to have an arm!). Wound up, ball slipped and I threw it straight into the ground…..
  6. Would Hines fit back here in Indy with Steichen’s Offense? I could see that, if both sides were willing. Steichen’s Offense seems more fitting than Frank’s was, at least.
  7. I wasn’t meaning to disparage Johnny U. IMO, he’s the All Time NFL GOAT! Slightly ahead of Joe Montana.
  8. Bowlegged Unitas couldn’t run a lick. He handed off to Lenny Moore- who was All NFL for the 50th Anniversary Team. Unitas passed to NFL All Pro Raymond Berry, and All Pro John Mackey. Johnny U took horrible beatings, because there were very few rules protecting QBs. But he was one Tough SOB, and a Never Give Up Leader!
  9. Smith was rated the 2nd Best College Guard when he was drafted. 2nd only to Nelson. Ironicly, Will Fries was drafted as a Tackle. He started 35 games for Penn State at Tackle, and only 9 at Guard.
  10. I doubt he could…. (from an article on CBS Sports, an hour ago…)https://www.cbssports.com/writers/bryan-deardo/ Former Pro Bowler Taylor Lewan says he is filing a lawsuit over knee surgery he had in 2020 Lewan hasn't been the same player since the surgery
  11. To add- Freeland was drafted because of his exceptional quickness and speed. If he adds weight, will he lose that quickness? He may have reached his potential already? I hope not, but we’ll see….
  12. I doubt Freeman gains enough strength this year to be effective. He’s 6’8”/ 302 lbs. , probably needs another 20 lbs? When he started his college career he was a 6’7”/ 190 lbs QB, much like Jelani Woods was. It’s amazing that he’s come as far as he has. He’s an interesting find.
  13. I don’t see Smith losing his position, but- if the Colts can find a better RT, Smith was rated as the 2nd Best College OG when he was drafted. The only OG rated higher was Quentin Nelson. Smith never played RT until the Colts needed him to. Basically, a lot like Will Fries; Fries started 35 games for Penn St at OT, and only 9 at Guard. He was drafted as a Tackle, and ended up at Guard because we had no one better.
  14. I heard they want Hooker to sit behind Tannehill for a year. That makes more sense. Wouldn’t have to move up, theoretically.
  15. You are correct about it being in Indy. I once had that game on VHS. Chris Chandler was the QB, and Dickerson got oodles of yards on his every touch.
  16. Actually, he does have a Super Bowl appearance and won the first half. If I recall correctly, he was up 28 or so to 3, when Brady took over and did what Brady does. I’d call Ballard getting him this year a Colts Win.
