LordHelpOurColts
http://espn.go.com/blog/san-diego-chargers/ What a career this guy had. An absolute terror at the position and watching him and Mathis terrorize QB's for years sure was fun. Didn't Freeney run like a 4.4 at the combine or at his pro day? Dude was so fast. Girlzarefanstoo
He's such a great competitor, team mate and man. We've really been blessed to have him. He mentors the young guys. He's an example in every way. I hope he's back for one more. Even though his numbers didn't show it so much, he was an integral part of the D and quite valuable. The hurried throws, near misses and QBs looking over their shoulder for him don't always make it to the stat sheet.
southwest1
Dwight is darn nice guy, a force on any football field, & I'm really gonna miss not seeing his tornado spin move on gameday if he truly retires. Loved him in INDY & I was very happy for him when he went to a very formidable team in San Diego. I hope Freeney returns for 1 more year in Chargers Country because that team is close to making a SB run if Rivers & Woodhead are healthy. Whatever #93 decides to do, he's compiled an impressive pass rushing career. He was a master at using leverage to his advantage too. It was beautiful to watch QBs fall down over & over again. Good luck & god bless man. A classy guy to his core.
oldunclemark
I hope he plays one more year...obviously...he's a situational guy now a pass rush specialist.. ..I dont know what matters to a guy who has played so long and done almost everything you can do..but its probably hard to make an arguement for continuing to play..once money isn't that big an issue anymore (he's made quite a bit) ...He's a long time favorite... an icon..I know many who play now came up watching him... ////I'd like to see him stay on in SD and go for the playoffs one more time
21isSuperman
I'm a big Freeney fan. He'll be 35 in February, so perhaps he could come back for one last season as a situational guy. I always liked him as a leader and mentor here in Indy. I'm not sure how he's been doing in San Diego, but given the comments of Girlzarefanstoo, it sounds like he's been an important part of that team
