The white Bronco chase down the freeway was hard to forget. Networks altered their regularly scheduling programming to run it on every station & depending on a viewer's perspective you either saw the incident as a move to stand up an unfair justice system or a diplomatic escort by the police to handle a pampered celebrity with kid gloves. 

Robert Kardashian, played by David Schwimmer in the TV series, is portrayed on screen as having a crisis of conscious as he begins to doubt the innocence of his lifelong friend as the trial progresses since DNA suggests that another criminal committing this crime is almost impossible in scope. That's what makes dramas fascinating. When trusted allies in your corner begin to question their blind loyalty to you. 

I was surprised that the series never dealt with the fallout after the verdict was handed down. You know when movie studios, restaurant owners, & paid corporate endorsors replied in unison: Yes, we know you were acquitted of double murder in a court of law, but we don't care. We will no longer hire you or welcome you in our establishment anymore. Legal freedom vs public outcry. You may be a free man, but perhaps not a rich one anymore Mr. Simpson.
