you can usually tell even by the rookie year because you will see flashes or a big game once in a while . it could still be a ugly year for the QB but you can see signs early . look at joe burrow his first year goes 3-13 but you saw the flashes in some games . against us burrow was lighting it up but rivers came back .

look i wanted the colts to draft levis really bad but i am gonna support richardson and give him a fair chance . being raw he probably will struggle year 1 but its fair to give him at least 3 years . if its his third year and richardson stinks i will be the first one calling for him to get benched . i am not gonna be overly harsh his first two years i am just happy to have a home grown QB instead of old QB rentals every year

I think he would have to retire before the colts cut him to lose that money . Matt stayed active until his money was due and waited for the colts to cut him .

the line played much better towards the end of the year . it was a down year for the whole line , one bad year doesnt mean give up on smith . smith played a whole year before without giving up a sack he has been very good for most of his career so far .

this is based on last years win / loss records the nfl changes very quick year to year . i have a feeling watson will start playing good again and the browns / saints / panthers/ rams will all be much better this year

how do you know our 4th round pick is even starting you are making assumptions he could just be depth . fries played okay and i bet he starts this season

it doesnt make sense money wise to pay smith 20 million to play guard . nelson is a generational talent at guard and that is the only reason he makes that much .

i think 2012 is different because luck was one of the most pro ready QBS in history coming out of college . i can see taylor having a career year because when you mix up elite runners and mobile QBs it helps a lot . maybe having over 2000 yards rushing and a top ten defense would equal 9 wins but i doubt richardson is gonna throw at a elite level his rookie year . the 2024 season is where the colts will end up shinning

If you add rushing tds and yards Richardson had 26 touchdowns and 3200 yards . That is in 13 games with another 4 he would probably be over 30 touchdowns and 4000 yards . That is good for a first year starter

i think your expectations are a little to high to be honest . i hope you are right but when starting any rookie its usually very bumpy . peyton, joe burrow ,josh allen trevor lawrence all had bad first years . with richardson being a bigger project who started less games in college it will be bumpy at first . it could be ugly at some points but i just wanna see some growth by the end of the year

i hate judging draft classes before they play but the colts did get a lot of value in this draft .

levis has great talent big arm he is mobile has elite traits . he and richardson are both semi projects and i think the colts chose richardson because he is younger and has better traits . they feel like richardson has a higher ceiling

well see you cant write off a QB just because he fell to the second round . plenty of second round or later picks turned into probowlers . its a roll of the dice we dont really know at this point who will be good or not . plenty of high first round picks turned into busts . i just hope everything works out and richardson is that guy

i like this draft my only concern is offensive line . i think we needed a right guard and a back up center and another back up guard . the depth scares me on the o line but i think outside of right guard i still like our offensive line in general

now i hope levis is a bust ,i hope ballard was right.

okay i was mad when the colts didnt select levis but since then i watched a lot of film break down videos on youtube of richardson . i am now all in on richardson i think kurt warner did a great job breaking down his film . it seems like his low completion percentage was from a deep shot passing offense and from his wrs dropping passes at record levels . i see patrick mahomes throws on his film his movement inside the pocket feeling pressure is elite . i still think he struggles his first year but i think he has the chance to be elite .

We better hope Levi’s isn’t good or else he will punish the colts for the next 15 years . Titans now scare me as a legit threat in our division

what scares me is we see ballard all the time reach for guys who are really talented but raw . ballard puts a lot of stock in size and measurements . it backfired before with all the edge rushers that busted out under ballard .

its un heard of to take a QB with one year experience with a losing record top 5 . i dont think its ever been done before

its gonna take a couple of years for AR to be good its gonna take a lot of patience . might end up like the bears getting a high pick next year . his stats scared me thats why i wanted levis 17 touchdowns 9 picks and only 2500 yards passing with one year as a starter . its very risky but he has mahomes arm talent and lamar speed so it all depends on his work ethic and drive to get better . its gonna be about 3 years before we see what his ceiling is

i hope so after watching wentz matt ryan and jacoby brissett the last couple years i am burned out . i will support AR and give him a chance at least we didnt take a guard
