SW1...  I had a horrible cold, luckily I'm on the mend, and just in time.  We have two gigs this weekend.  ;)

Same with me, Gramz. I will probably watch it but I am not excited about it as I usually am. I DEFINITELY  do not want to see Brady hoisting up yet another SB trophy.

Well technically, Von Miller did the bulk of the heavy lifting in that AFC Championship Game, buddy. But, you're right, Manning make the throws he had to in order to end his career on top so yeah...I'll co-sign that statement as well.

I watch AXS TV Channel 340 on Direct TV all the time given my soft spot for musicians & over Christmas on my DVR I recorded a Jennifer Nettles [lead singer from 'Sugarland' fame] do a very moving rendition of "Little Drummer Boy." It blew me away. See...

She also did a memorable version of "Go Tell It Around The Mountain" too.

Yes, Jennifer has an incredible voice.  I love listening to her.

Bogie,  they are a very well rounded team, with a great coach.   I know alot of people don't like them, but I say credit where credit is due.   They've had  a great season and  deserve to win the championship.  They are a great team.

I think Ohio St has the only chance because they have the Defense that can keep it close + Ohio St seems to get as lucky as Bama does on getting the huge key breaks in games. The REFS love Ohio St (they are the 1 team) as much as they do Bama so that evens out. Ohio St may find a way to win by 1 point because of a call or a lucky Turnover.

There is only one really good offense in the SEC who they have to play every year, and that's Ole Miss. Bama hasn't really been tested all year outside of that. Ohio State or Clemson can bring them down. 

Alabama's offense can be very shaky up against a decent defense, as we seen against LSU and other games where they just barely could score. Rookie freshman QB too who struggles from time to time. 

I'd give anything to see someone take them down. I quit watching their games a few years ago cause they're just boring blow outs. I would watch a close game or a loss though...

Michigan's QB fumbling at the goaline and throwing a pick 6 didn't help either. He isn't that good is he? I still think Jim's team got ripped off but they shot themselves in the foot with key Turnovers. It was a Great game I agree Gramz.

Michigan's QB was reported to have a broken collarbone two weeks ago...  I'm guessing it wasn't a broken collarbone, or he wouldn't have been playing, but he definitely has something wrong with his non-throwing shoulder.   Part of the reason he was "off" yesterday.  He really is a good QB.

I didn't know that, thanks I guess that is why he played bad.

That's a good philosophy or approach there Gramz because if a person eliminates what they suck at you're usually left with hey, I'm pretty darn good at this. 

Don't think of it as failures just high quality, case study research. Besides, being a jack of all trades is overrated anyway since you're always in demand & get no down time for yourself right? LOL! 

Good advice once again Gramz. Not easy to do sometimes given the state of our franchise right now & differences of opinion with relatives of mine regarding the future of this country, but you're right though. It's better to be respectful than sling mud or go into full fledged attack mode.

Thanks for sending that I missed the interview but did have the game on, my finances grandparents came to see our new place so we had dinner during the game. Couldn't believe the score when I turned around a half hour later. Saw Peyton get inducted into the ring of honor so that was awesome

Yup, just like 06 said. Finally got it together and had a bunch of defensive stops and put it in with under 2 min left then the XP got blocked.

I do admire all the early weekend risers who disrupted their sleep schedules to watch our London game. I wasn't one, an early riser, by I admire those fans who were though. 

Thanks for the reminder & positive outlook Gramz. It's not easy to turn the other cheek sometimes, especially when some people love to reside in a dark, fowl, & pessimistic mood 24/7. But, I agree 100% taking the high road is always a good idea. 

Do I always do this? No, but sometimes, I actually follow my own advice though so it's a start. LOL!

I decided it was light enough rain this am to go ahead with my 3 mile walk.  About a quarter of the way into it, the sky opened up and I had a very soggy walk but hey, it's done!

I am bummed too.  Although I thought Denver would win, knowing  it is hard to beat them at home, but I expected our team to look better than they did.   

I go in with lower expectations but they are ALWAYS in it at the end which makes the letdown much worse. Need to get over these injuries. How is everything going?

Really hope that the team does better at home. Really should had won against the Lions!

I haven't ate Papa Johns pizza in a while. I am not a huge fan of their pizza but it isn't bad. I may order one tomorrow while the Colts are playing and a cupcake too!

We tried 2 pan pizzas last night.  You need to ask for extra sauce or it is too doughy.  I liked it.

At 1 of my 3 alma maters that I graduated from, Papa Johns more or less had a pizza monopoly in town so we all learned to accept it or no pizza period. I do like pineapples as a topping though. It's quite tasty.
