I still want to win........and if not that, I'd like and hope for an offensive td...........and if I cannot have that......a couple of first downs. In the jax game.....I would have been much happier without those 2 interceptions.
I don't worry about the draft until the season is over.
We don't throw games.
But I understand people looking for an up side.

It's time to get creative Colts fans. It used to be we could just tune in and watch and there would be a pretty good chance we'd enjoy ourselves just doing that. Well, no longer. We're going to have to work for it.
For example, at my house, first downs, are the new touchdowns. We go nuts when they get a first down. It's actually kind of fun (we've long since given up any and all hope of a win this year) to find yourself rooting for lowered expectations.
Same at my house. Although, I still find myself having higher expectations......like being in jaguar territory a second time
.......only to be intercepted AGAIN.
It is just brutal watching these games. Hope will crush you.
I need the bye week............maybe more than the team does

There is no conspiracy.
We are so unbelievably bad that it is incomprehensible.
I do wish I could be a fly on the wall and have an inside look at how coaches and management are approaching this but we shall just have to wait.

This dislike of Caldwell I can understand, but have yet to see anything in the overall track record of Bill Polian and even his son that doesn't lead me to think they can fix what is at issue and get this franchise back into the playoff hunt within a season or two.
I feel the same way. We for sure are in the minority

It's very true. I am being a troll. I guess I'm just surprised that nobody had any thoughts on the images. I asked for a simple favor to please post the images on the main page so more ppl could view them since I am not able to (most of the time..fans enjoy this type of work), but I guess that's too much to ask. thanks guys

I saw him on TV talking about it and he has a lot to say about our veterans. He calls them, the 1%

Other people are calling and demanding a personal phone call with Mr. Irsay to explain to him what the problem areas are. They talk to his secretary as well.

to me this an example with what is wrong with today's fan. This whole what have you done for me lately is really depressing.
I do not agree that there is anything wrong with today's fan. There will always be optimists and pessimists. that's just the way the human race is.
I do agree though that I find it depressing. Just as some people like to boo......and others really hate it.
Some people complain even when we are winning. I know because I've sat next to them at games and they don't stop complaining and they suck the fun right out of it for me.
Best I can, I tune them out, focus on what I want to focus on. You cannot convince them to be different. Not ever going to happen.
In this case, a LOT of people believe they know what's wrong with the team. So, they want those things fixed.
I'm like you. I believe management has it in hand, so I don't worry about it. But, for most people on this board, you will never ever convince them that you are correct on these issues.
Just as they will never ever convince you that you are not correct.

I really can't understand this. It is documented that he took less than he was offered, and would have taken less still, in fact he wanted to, but Irsay wouldn't let him. Irsay had already said that he was going to make him the highest paid in the league, and he stuck to that. How is that Peyton's fault? How is he greedy? He didn't hold out for more, he gave back as much as he could. HE was also the one who put the clause in to make sure the Colts could opt out of the contract if he doesn't recover from his injury. That was Peyton's doing, no one elses. Tell me, how is that greedy? In my opinion, he did everything that he could to make sure he took care of the team.
This is true. IMO is no more greedy than any other NFL player. Given his importance to this team.......I would say he is less greedy.
Honestly, I feel like this is a silly argument.

I remember a 3-13 season not so long ago that we bounced back to 13-3 the next season.
How was the team to know the "state" it was in when manning was always playing?
I'm not happy about this season either, but to give up on "my team" or to get rid of season tickets after 1 year of bad play makes me wonder how some of these people handle real problems in their life.
Do you divorce your wife after a day or week of arguing? Do you throw your kid out of the house after they make a mistake?
I just think its going overboard, imo.
But then, like I said, many of these people prob didn't come "on board" until the success started. So its predictable I guess.

Well said, I have been asking myself this lately.
Only thing I can come up with is this: Many of us do have a lot of tough things to deal with these days, I know I do. We look forward to the season as an escape from that.
No escape this year. Instead, the lockout followed by Manning out, followed by loss after loss......accompanied by fans being massively angry.
I had a conversation with my daughter last night who was freaking out about finances. I've heard enough from her on this issue. And I just said: Life is like that sometimes.........you have a budget, make it work, that's life.
Essentially, BUCK UP!
