    Stroud will be top level. You could probably name a dozen QBs who were top 10 picks from recent years that Stroud already looks better than, like at any point in their careers. Richardson still has a lot of work to do to become a top level QB, but everyone knew that going in. So far, so good. It's way too early to say anything definitive about Young.

    Steichen has to find a way to get some consistent offense, to move the ball consistently. Currently, it's feast or famine. That puts a lot of pressure on your defense.

    They're way too inconsistent at the moment, especially on offense, but you have a rookie QB and rookie head coach. You can’t expect to win games by only showing up for one quarter. The offense just disappears for stretches. They had how many drives and opportunities to pad the lead against Jacksonville and did nothing?

    We've had so many QBs and head coaches recently, it's hard to remember which year was which. Since Ballard arrived, we've had 4 head coaches and 11 different QBs start a game?

    Unfortunately, Pep Hamilton returned on our final drive. We had two timeouts and plenty of time. Should have run the ball, run Richardson, done some high percentage stuff. Just move the chains. To date, I can't say Steichen has knocked my socks off as a play caller.
