  1. Wow, ok, the last 2 years prior to this year we had a few pick in here, I always updated everything and, on the fly, and nobody had a problem with it. I simply updated the leaderboard because I am amazed their is a 3-way tie for first through 10 weeks. I just found it impressive. What is wrong with being happy getting picks right = me saying my mojo is back? I take pride in picking games. You could do the same thing and I would love it, I would actually hope you would. It would not bother me at all. I really hope you are joking with these posts because you are making something out of nothing, you really are.
  2. How am I obsessing over it? I am having fun with it. If you win all 3 games today, I won't lose sleep over it. It is fun but I also would like to win. This is one of the better fun threads I come too to get away from the negativity of some others in here. I like every poster in here that is picking.
  3. Big day today, @EasyE and myself agreed on every game. @chad72 went with the Chargers over Packers, Steelers over Browns, and Rams over Seahawks on the 3 different ones. All 3 of us are 96-55 tied for 1st place.
  4. You didn't miss much. I would like to block out the last 2 years = 2021 and 2022. Taylor and Leonard were super in 2021, outside of that everything else has been forgettable. Last year, although Matt Ryan was bad, watching Sam Ellinger and Nick Foles play was just as bad as watching Painter. It was miserable.
  5. I have to do more research but as of now, I re-sign all 4 FA's and draft Rome in the 1st round if he's there.
  6. Rome reminds me of a taller version of Deebo Samuel or sort of like DK Metcalf. I really like him a lot. Although the Huskies rarely run him, he has had a couple of good runs this season and is capable of being a great NFL Receiver and running a few times. He would be my pick if he's there.
  7. This years WR crop coming out is great. I mentioned guys like Odunze and Nabers, no not Jim Nabers but if he can play in the NFL like Jim could sing, he will turn out great. Stroud looks scary good and Lawrence is already legit good. We have our work cut out for us.
  8. Yeah that is another injury I didn't even mention. Ravens losing Andrews isn't good.
  9. They still may not even make it in, but the percentages are with them to do so at 6-3. A lot of football left.
  10. Joe Burrow is still young luckily and as long as he and Chase stay with Cincy and are healthy entering any playoff run, they have a shot. Matt Ryan has to be tore up inside losing the way the Falcons lost in 2016. If I was in his shoes, I would be thinking about that almost every day. It would eat me alive. Most great QB's at least should win 1 SB, that completes a resume along with the huge stats, etc.. Ryan was so close he could taste it.
  11. That would make my whole year eventhough I picked the Ravens to win the SB before the season. Our season would be a season to remember then, that is for sure.
  12. Yeah it is actually below average. Pickett is not that good.
  13. After watching years of Peyton and then watching Luck, we have been a boring team for years for the most part. All most people really look at is wins and losses in the end. Pitt has played some really ugly ball but if I was a fan of Pitt sitting at 6-3, I would still be happy. I don't know how Tomlin does it with that craptastic offense.
  14. I honestly should hate the Chiefs because they win a lot but I don't. Mahomes is easy to root for and Andy Reid is a real likeable guy. They are nothing like Tom Brady and BB in my book.
  15. In reality as a fan, I can't stand them, but I go by who I think will win games based on eye test, how teams matchup, and gut more than anything. That is why I probably do well in our picks segment every year, because normally I pick with my brain and not my heart. When it comes to the Colts, sometimes I cave in though . In my lifetime, I don't think I will ever hate anyone more than the Pats and Steelers. They are my 1a and 1b.
  16. I am staying away from that game betting wise. Browns are starting a rookie is why. Having said that, the Browns are at home and have a great defense. That will be an interesting game because Pitt's offense is pretty average.
  17. I hope. As of now, I am looking forward to the Colts making a playoff push. I don't care if we win ugly, I would rather win ugly than lose pretty. Give me 9-8 all day and sneaking in. Once you are in, anything can happen. We already beat teams like the Ravens at Baltimore with Mustache so who knows??
  18. Ravens vs Lions in the SB, I picked it before the season and I stand by it. As long as Jackson or Goff don't get injured . You never know, this year has been insane with the QB injuries. I think Ravens upset the Chiefs in the AFC and in the NFC the Lions pull a shocker over Eagles.
  19. We still play the Steelers luckily so we can make up ground on them. I hope the Browns beat them tomorrow.
  20. Nah, according to some he will just get injured again because he likes to run. He needs to be more like QB's that never get injured (you know pure pocket passers) as in Joe Burrow (sorry about that but I making a sarcastic point), Kirk Cousins, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Stafford, Ryan Tannehill, Jimmy G, and Daniel Jones.
  21. If we pick mid first round say 15-19th or so. There are 2 WRs that have stood out to me that should be there when we pick. That is Rome Odunze and Malik Nabers. Both would be fantastic additions. Marvin will go top 5 IMO, we aren't getting him.
  22. I feel bad for guys like @RollerColtbecause with Burrow being at 100%, the Bengals were like a top 5 in the league IMO. You only get so many chances to win a SB. He is young though and will be back.
  23. I never wish injury on anyone either, but I do look at it like this, the other fanbases weren't crying when AR went down, or when Luck went down in 2017 or retired. It is what it is. I do like Joe Burrow, his injury sucks but that is football.
