  1. Good game tonight. The Chiefs receivers played poor tonight. Ravens now have the #1 seed.
  2. I had a bunch of stuff going on earlier with work. I seen you changed your pick. Good call. The change will be made. 3 way tie for 1st place now. What a fun year in here. Great competition.
  3. My days of getting baited are over, it is just time for it to end, last week or so I have been really mellow and have let a lot just go over my head. Not worth it anymore. It is good for the forum for everyone to have different opinions and thoughts, everyone should. If I disagree with someone it doesn't make them a bad person. I should have never even responded to Doug's initial post about posting that stat, that is my fault. I come here to have fun and try to bring knowledge to the forum and get my mind off things. Nothing more, nothing less. To your last paragraph, I was being sarcastic more than anything, I would think you would know that.
  4. Way to twist things. Make me look bad and you look innocent. You know what you are doing and frankly I am tired of it. You can fool others but not me. I am going to put you on ignore. I have never done that to anyone. Congrats.
  5. It is, I was being sarcastic, I just don't think you know the history between him and me. I have been ignoring him lately but why even point out someone had a great passer rating when they played like crap.
  6. To your last sentence, thanks, we agree 100%. So the next time I get bashed for posting a stat line of someone that had bad stats, I will tag on you on it so you can tell them they were out of place for bashing me. Sound fair?
  7. He is a strong Levis supporter, and he and I have gone back and forth about Levis for a month now. If you knew our history, you would know why he posted the stat.
  8. You and I agree 100%. We both had the Ravens before the season and put money on it. The Andrews Injury is bad but Lamar and their defense may still be enough for them to make a run. Chiefs are the elephant in the room. I picked the Lions to win the NFC before the season, they are 8-2 so at least I don't like nitwit even if they fall short .
  9. That is why I can't bash on BB that much. He took Brady, call it lucky but he got it right
  10. Each week is going to be a grinder. Are you prepared? If we beat the Bucs and get to 6-5, things really get real
  11. The 1 thing that has stuck out to me is, when Ballard has had good-great QB play his record is 21-11 with a playoff win. Luck in 2018 = 10-6 and a playoff win, Rivers 11-5 in 2020. I can't harp enough how much having that good QB means to winning games. Let's hope AR pans out because that is his pick. So if AR doesn't pan out then his criticism is right to do. I think trading for Wentz was more of a Reich thing wanting that to happen so Ballard went the flow because really there were no other good options there. Matt Ryan was an Irsay thing IMO. AR is on Ballard.
  12. Not really sure what this post is supposed to mean? I guess you are pointing out Levis had a great Passer Rating? I am one that is on record already, stating Passer Rating makes no sense to me and doesn't measure at to me how well a QB plays. Levis still played badly and anyone that watched the game would know this. I am not here to bash him, read my posts above. Not here to debate or argue about him, I am done doing that with people regarding Levis, it is a waste of time. I watched almost the whole game. He had 2 garbage TD's when the game was already over in a blowout loss, and he looked erratic all day. His best and long TD was on a trick play. He had several passes that could have been picked off as well (2 INT's were dropped, another, a bogus roughing call took 1 away) + he fumbled once. Context means something.
  13. I honestly only have 2 GM's in Tier 1: Howie Roseman -explained above. Brett Veach - was a huge reason the Chiefs traded up to get Mahomes. -That's it. My Tier 2: I have a bunch: John Schneider, Eric Decosta, Les Snead, Jason Licht, Duke Tobin, Brandon Bean, Brad Holmes, John Lynch, I will put BB and Jerry Jones here just based on long past history. Then Ballard falls in this tier as well but barely.
  14. You should have joined our weekly picks from the beginning because you are on here a lot. They are fun and competitive. We have 9 people that have picked every week + another that has since Week 3. I am really impressed with the way @EasyEand @chad72is picking but not only that, the others are picking good. I love the knowledge in here but picking is a lot of luck too. I have had some games where I have lost on missed FG's and the opposing team making FG's. Then I have won games, I had no business winning by the skin of my teeth by a FG or less. I am just happy I was able to get 9 people to do it every week, that is a pretty nice sample size and the more, the merry. Rules are pretty simple but if you miss a week you are screwed because a missed pick is a loss, that is why if you miss 1 week you are 0-16 for that week in a full week. That messes up your W/L % and puts you out of trying to win. Maybe next year, you will join?
  15. I was so close to picking the Chargers yesterday. I kept dwelling on it up until gametime. Then I was like, Herbert isn't screwing me this week. I got away with one but barely. Every time I take the Chargers I lose unless they play a crap team, I have won with them once, when they beat the Jets.
  16. A lot of these coaching and GM rankings are tough to grade because if a GM lands the right QB, he is going to look better than he is. Same as if a Coach has a Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Pat Mahomes they look like a genius. Belichick without Brady looks like a hot mess = coaching and being a GM. Duke Tobin to me has been good but not great. During the Palmer and Dalton years he kept them competitive, but they never won a Playoff game. Then hit the lottery ticket when being able to draft Burrow and make a SB. That was a no brain #1 pick that anyone in here would have made, like with Grigson picking Luck and looking like the best GM out there from 2012-2014. Tobin is top 10 but Tier 1, nah, I don't see it. Howie Roseman is the best and to me it isn't even close. He was Executive Vice President of OPS when they won the SB with Foles in 2017, then he rebuilt the team on the fly as a Vice President/GM and went to another SB with Hurts last year. His hiring of coaches and his drafting has been excellent.
  17. I was looking at these Tiers and no way is Belichick Tier 1 as a GM. Yes, he is a top 5 Head Coach of all-time as I have him in my top 5 anyway but as GM, he has been average at best. Since Brady has left, over the last 3 years what has he done as GM to warrant him as a Tier 1 GM? Regarding Ballard, that ranking is about right. I have him in top half of the league, around 15th is reasonable. He isn't great but there are many that are much worse. The Shane hire was good for the team. If AR pans out, Ballard will move way up. I thought the Downs pick was genius. Getting Mustache to be the backup QB was a good move too. It has kept us being competitive at least. He didn't panic either and didn't just try and trade JT and Moore. He stuck with them. Moore should make the Pro-Bowl.
  18. @NFLfan, tough loss. I still like Dobbs a lot and think he can be good. On to next week.
  19. A lot of it is, you have to factor the team that is around a QB as well. That is why sometimes stats don't tell the whole story. Stats are important but so is eye test. I haven't been impressed with Levis other than his 1st game vs the Falcons, I thought Levis played great vs the Falcons but it was one game.. Then against the Steelers he was average, then bad the last 2 weeks at Tampa and at Jacks. He doesn't have much of an O.line but his pocket awareness is troublesome, and he forces a lot of dangerous passes. He knows he has a strong arm is why. I thought when AR played in the 4 games he played in, his pocket awareness was better than Levis' and to me it looked like he could throw into a tight window better than Levis. He also has the ability to run to get out of jams and make big plays with his feet. Moving forward problem with AR will be, can he stay healthy? So far if I was to grade the 4 QB's, I would say, 1. Stroud = A 2. Levis = C 3. Young = F AR is an incomplete as of now. Tough to grade him because of his injuries. Next season will be the tell all for all these guys. To me Stroud definitely looks to be the real deal, then again we sacked him 7 times when we played them earlier and AR was actually outplaying him going into the 2nd Qtr.
  20. As I skimmed back through, I didn't realize everyone had the Vikings except for Easy, Chad, and myself. 1 game left = Eagles at Chiefs, Monday Night Football. Anyway, the updated standings through Week 11 so far are: 1. @2006Coltsbestever106-57 = I have Chiefs 1. @EasyE106-57 = Chiefs 2. @chad72105-58 (1 back) = Chiefs 3. @Chrisaaron102399-64 (7 back) = Eagles 3. @Moe99-64 (7 back) = Eagles 4. @w87r98-65 (8 back) = Chiefs 5. @VikingsFanInChennai95-68 (11 back) = Chiefs 6. @coltsva93-70 (13 back) = Eagles 7. @RollerColt92-71 (14 back) = Eagles @Solid8481-50, as an Honorable Mention. Missed 1st 2 weeks of picking. = Chiefs. This upcoming week, we have 3 Thursday games and 1 Friday game as a reminder. Good luck everyone, several people are bunched up and picking well. This looks accurate, any discrepancies let me know. Thanks.
  21. Vikings still up 17-9 after 3. Fumbling is a huge pet peeve of mine. It drives me crazy.
