I’m curious as to why Wilkins in inactive and Williams is active. I didn’t think Wilkins had been to bad with the touches he has received.

No, he has no WR’s. Get him some WR’s and it would have been OK.
I kid, it was bad. Maybe a good thing for Colts fans though. Like they always say, sometimes you need to date a 3 to appreciate a 6. I bet we all appreciate JB a little more after today.

They said he kicked it low to avoid the swirling winds...nonetheless, there was a a defender coming off the right edge unblocked that darn near made the block. The line also gave pressure. Again, I’m not saying Adam isn’t struggling, I don’t think the other players are giving much help to an already struggling player.

i wonder if the Colts give Matt Overton a call this week, he was the long snapper before and pretty good. He was released by the Jags so he’s out there and we know he knows working with Adam.
Rigo isn’t going anywhere but can probably use more practice on holding.
with that said Adam is still an issue. The last snap wasn’t good but Adam also mistimed his kick and dug into the ground. He did the samething vs Miami last year. That’s something NFL level kickers just don’t do let alone doing it twice in a calendar year. He’s been having issues since really the last quarter of last season. Not all of that is the kicking operation. The question is is someone better available? That’s something we as fans don’t know but I hope the Colts front office explores that this week. If one isn’t then we have to live with Adam until the end of the season. This maybe a problem that can’t be fixed this season.
I agree with just about everything. My only point in the thread is most fans see a missed kick and blame the kicker when it could of been the snap, the hold, the line, etc. Adam is definitely struggling, no doubt, I just think it’s more than just him. The whole unit is struggling. Heck special teams in general today really struggled.

Yup, I’m not saying he’s not..it would be a hard argument to make. I’m just saying i don’t think it’s all him. The block wasn’t on him. The last miss want a perfect snap and hold. Same last week according to our ex punter. I’m just saying I think the whole unit has pretty well stunk it up this year.

I think it’s the holder and snapper. At least has something to do with it. It’s not all on Adam.

Not sure if he is a Colts fan or not. I assume you know who he is since you didn’t mention that in your post, so I’ll leave that part out.
I don’t know if there is anything special going on but they honored him on the field before the game Sunday...I assume that’s why he received the game ball.
