  1. Post-Draft Analysis The Colts' base 4-3 defense needs another pass-rusher off the edge after missing on a few previous selections in the second round. Latu is pro-ready with an array of pass rush tools at his disposal. Indianapolis posted 51 sacks last season, the fifth best in the league, but finding a potential premier defensive end in a league where nearly every team is running a three-person rotation is smart team building.

  3. I was thrilled they went defense.
  4. Offensive linemen are the group with the most success rate in the first round. The Colts will have the opportunity to draft one.
  5. My thoughts exactly. It is a reasonable assumption.
  6. He's just gotta let it roll off his shoulders.
  7. I don't know either way but someone with a history like his and has been in rehab "at least 15 times" it is not a stretch to assume it was an overdose. I had no idea he was only 64. I thought he was closer to being in his 80's. Last December, police were called to Jim Irsay’s home around 4:30 a.m. ET and found him in bed unresponsive and cold during what authorities called a "suspected overdose." However, the Indianapolis Colts owner denied the authorities' report. "It wasn’t an overdose,’’ Irsay said to Fox 59 in Indianapolis. "I don’t know why when you have your name in the paper in the past, people throw that out there quickly. I don’t pay attention to it all that much, but I don’t think it’s fair." "It's a long road and you have to be patient. The great news is everything is going well," a hospitalized Irsay said in March after he underwent a procedure on his right leg. The leg procedure was performed in an effort to improve Irsay's mobility. The 64-year-old also revealed that he has undergone "26 surgeries over the last seven years." The billionaire was the subject of a "Real Sports" interview with Andrea Kremer in November, when he said he has been to rehab "at least 15 times." He also mentioned a near-death situation that gave him an epiphany. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/colts-owner-jim-irsay-denies-overdosed-police-found-him-unresponsive-december
  8. I think St. Louis is fine with only having the Battlehawks of the USFL. I don't think I would root for the Chiefs if they move. They would become one of my hated teams joining the Cowboys and Ravens. I'm guessing that fans are often wearing their KC Chiefs gear that they paid high dollar for.
  9. Game 2 is tomorrow night. You are right, they must win it. Really blew it yesterday. I watched just a little bit, but the Pacers were shooting quick bad shots the whole time I watched.
  10. The Bucks are whooping the Pacers with their bench players.
  11. He is good if you are set to win now. Houston will most likely win the AFC South next season.
  12. dah, people need to stop complaining about her contract. The WNBA has not been profitable but people feel they should pay players more?
  13. This is a question that could go many ways. It depends on how the draft goes.
  14. That is great for you. Enjoy the memories. I have no interest in the Masters myself but maybe Peyton added some comedy.
  15. I think they did this for no particular reason. They needed to extend Buckner with a new contract and decided to do this "just in case".
  16. I mostly chose Rod Woodson because he still helps out the state. He still lives in Fort Wayne (part time) and still hosts football camps each year. A great guy.
  17. Mine would be similar. In no particular order: Larry Bird Reggie Miller Payton Manning Rod Woodson.
  18. I agree. The WNBA is ticking upward but it has to sustain it. I do not watch the NBA or WNBA, I quit watching the NBA 10 years ago.
  19. Clark will get paid $339,000 for 4 years. That is for playing a game and having lots of time off. Of course she will make more with endorsements. The WNBA averaged 6500 people per game. That is similar to lots of minor leagues.
  20. I think she is very average looking. But she has shown some marketability which could ear her lots of money.
  21. It is definitely put up or shut up time. I remember everyone talking about the Pacers in that early season tournament, then it went away.
  22. 2006Coltsbestever, You were correct that Clark will have an effect on the Indy WNBA team and the league. Unfortunately they do not list ticket sales but refer to the price increases. Everyone feels she will be taken by Indiana, no question. I do not watch the NBA or the WNBA. Is she the best player coming out of college for the WNBA? Meanwhile, ticket marketplace Vivid Seats reports the team's regular-season opener -- a May 14 road game against the Connecticut Sun -- has seen a price increase of 91% since Clark declared for the draft. The Fever's home opener, on May 16 against the New York Liberty, has seen a 50% price increase since Clark declared, Vivid Seats reported. At ticket platform SeakGeek, the average Fever resale price for home games is currently $182 -- a 136% increase from 2023. https://www.espn.com/wnba/story/_/id/39922948/caitlin-clark-drives-spike-fever-wnba-ticket-interest
