  1. It is nice to see that for a small program. The fan base will be so excited, more so than ever. Bothe Purdue and IU won today. Purdue securing a number 1 seed and IU possibly knocking Michigan State out of the tourney.
  2. Too high of a price to pay to move up to get him. I'll pass. Take the best player at a need at 15.
  3. Good to see Dayton win tonight. They will probably be a 6th seed, maybe 7. They lost their starting and back up point guard earlier, so we will see if Holmes can carry them to the Sweet sixteen.
  4. Purdue beat a tough Illinois team tonight. Playing on the road against this team was tough. Smith and Edey played well as did Loyer and Gillis.
  5. Yes and No. It did end as a dumb trade, but he got current market price for a 9 time pro bowl QB with what seemed to be years left.
  6. I have boo'd at times. Not often, but if the team is playing like crap or the refs are doing horribly, I will boo them.
  7. It was using 6 tiers so the Colts are in the upper 3 even thought they missed the playoffs. Sounds about right.
  8. they stay in downtown hotels and there is rarely a dirty, crappy hotel downtown.
  9. i would agree that he contributed to it, but the coaching staff, as a whole, performed as a "tier 3" would.
  10. You are right. They get the best of every opponent. They just need to keep on winning, of course. I predict they will make the Sweet 16 or Great 8 and lose at that point. I fear that the selection committee will put a top 3 seed in their bracket (Kentucky).
  11. It depends. If he is one the team to win the division the next few years (which sounds likely), he will only move up.
  12. While i don't totally agree with the article, I can understand some of their rankings. The Colts had every chance to win their division and even get a top seed in the playoffs and they failed. teir 3 sounds right.
  13. We will have to agree to disagree here. i think she could help a little uptick in viewership and then it will die down. The WNBA has yet to show it can be a well attended league. The Indiana Fever average 4000 fans a game. That is similar to roller derby in Fort Wayne. The Komets get over 7000 per game. So the Fever (WNBA) is a little over half of minor league hockey.
  14. I depends. If they were a no show to class, they should either get a failing grade that should follow them on their transcript or have to reimburse. Also depends on the scholarship. Some are offered and accept multi-tear scholarships.
  15. I think she is a huge draw now because of the media attention because she is breaking records. Once in the WNBA, it will be forgotten. She will help increase attendance and viewership a bit but it'll die off. The WNBA game is just not good. I can't watch the NBA either but I root for the Pacers.
  16. Do you really expect the Pacers to challenge for the NBA title? I hope so, but think it is unlikely. Like other small market NBA teams not in an ideal location, they can make the playoffs, get beat and have a poor draft spot. I don't think Clark will make much of a change in the WNBA. It'll still be a poorly attended league that most do not care much about.
  17. I'm hoping AR can show us all that he is the QB some think he will be. The 15th pick in the draft could be hit or miss but used on a position of need, it adds to the excitement.
  18. A quick Google search shows Peyton worth between $250 and $300 million. Eli is worth $150 million. MaHomes is worth $70 million but is quickly rising. Tom Brady - $300 million Joe Montana - $150 million
  19. Losing to Penn State seals it. Maybe they get an NIT invite.
  20. After thinking about it, IU will not make the tourney. Michigan, Ohio State, Maryland, Rutgers, Penn State and IU are out of consideration. Odd year.
