I don't think people have seen the full gambit of Richardson practices like they have with Stroud and Young. I agree about the missing personnel. Plus these open media practices there's been a very small sample size of throws.
I see Levi's threw 3 picks today and Malik Willis outplayed him bad.
He can definitely still run and he's got good skill. In this vertical offense we needed that extra piece who can stretch the field. Our team speed was only ok. We got Pierce and I guess Dulin. I think they can use Downs from time to time but he and McKenzie are mostly slot guys. Pittman is not fast, but you can use him on vertical type routes bc of his height. Perryman will help get other guys free as well as be a target himself.
who exactly are you worried about developing? only name I can think of is Strachan who lacks speed and still hasn't shown enough to warrant worrying about his development to be quite honest.
And who cares? We are talking about a 4th, 5th, or 6th receiver here. Do those usually need to be stars? What we do need is some additional speed and he brings that. Who do we have amongst our reserve players that he shouldn't be playing over? He's better than all of them.
I think Strausser may have made communication and some of the nuances too complex for them judging from some of the random comments stuff I've seen coming from the OL. They all seem to like Sparano.
I concluded I wanted Stroud or Richardson. I just think it's crazy how quick some of these reporters and YouTubers are to jump on the guys(Levi's) every mistake. Now I did see some early reporting saying he started off good, but anything that looks bad it seems they are all over it. Oh well I'm glad we have who we picked!
Now they are saying Levi's has been looking bad. I definitely think we made the right choice, but it's crazy how much energy some fans across the board put into hating Levi's. The dude is a rookie so mistakes should be expected early on. I totally understand why Chris has had very limited media access when it comes to Richardson.
Mildly for me. It's practice so you will throw a couple ducks. Like you said continual practice makes perfect. This is why there hasn't been much media exposure. Bc all his throws will be heavily and overly scrutinized before the guy even gets to training camp.
