  1. The man has played a total of 19 games roughly and hes 20 years old. Why so much focus on accuracy without acknowledging his lack of meaningful experience and repetition? The man said himself hes always been the dominant player from pee wee league into college. He never really even had to work on his game much to be well above the competition. Orlovsky in a video breakdown felt Richardson did not have much of an accuracy problem versus it being a lack of meaningful reps. And i watched a short of Manning and Eli also saying he needs meaningful reps. Combine that with what hes doing with the QB coach and i think he will be fine. Too much nitpicking being done without considering the above. I definitely think he will get sharper.
  2. Do you need to become MJ to go from 53 percent to 60 percent completion percentage? I'd have to say probably not. Especially when your receivers dropped a ton of balls. I get what Blue said about completion percentage doesn't tell you everything. And I think that's especially true in a vertical offense where you're going to be making several deep shots. However I don't think half of you would be here making these arguments if his completion percentage were 60 ish percent.
  3. What do you think they should have done to get the caliber of players they got?
  4. I think 2 things. I think that they saw enough on film to be confident that he could be accurate with some tweaks on the short and intermediate throws. And #2 this is primarily a Vertical offense based on the deep throws. Of which in that sense hes very accurate. Overall its obvious to me they think what he lacks right now can be improved quite a bit in a reasonable time frame. And of course the talent was too great to pass up.
  5. Yeah i want to get an elite RG out of this one. Hopefully its Torrence so he can keep blocking for his college QB.
  6. Ah i see now! Ok then i too would like Frank to call plays for Bryce. Lol
  7. Thats what Woods will be. I think Ogletree is going to be nice too.
  8. We need a really good right guard and OL depth in general. Also cornerback a.nd LB. Probably 1 more WR. Im expecting Ballard to trade back today.
  9. Both Shane and Ballard understood that comparison breeds pressure or expectation from the media and others (warranted or unwarranted) for AR to be a certain thing. They understand that there is going to be some rough moments in ARs growth. So when that happens they dont want the media coming back talking about "I thought you said this guy was like Hurts or Cam" "Ha!, Ha!, Ha". I interpreted the offensive scheme question as a back door attempt to draw back into a comparison conversation. And when the reporter tried it Steichen immediately shot it down. I can see very early theyve got their plan in place to deal with the media storm.
  10. Im not sure in all my years of watching the Colts if we've had this type of athlete on any of the teams. Actually i take that back. Im certain we havent.
  11. Mcshay talks pretty much about every point i harped on with Levis. When Caserio said they had a guy come in there to meet with them and he talked bad about his coach i bet Levis did that. Lol!
  12. Yeah Yeah I know! Physically was the only thing i meant. Hes definitely an elite athlete. Id be crazy to speak on anything more than that until he proves it.
  13. I agree overall! Im not going to be crazy enough to speak on some of the stuff i know Luck has him beat by a 20 miles on. Was just talking about pure God given talent. The rest is to be determined.
  14. Not really. You can compare talent. What i wont do is say crazy stuff like he is a better QB or talk about stuff i know Richardson hasnt even produced.
  15. Sorry but Luck did not ever have all the tools this man has. Ever! Youre talking about things with Luck that this kid hasnt even gotten a good chance to work on. Richardsons arm is better than Lucks, hes faster, he plays safer than Luck, hes more elusive than Luck. I think hes got a better feel for pressure than Luck. I can name some other things. Again im talking about his raw tools. His natural God given ability. With what hes got it can get a whole lot better in my opinion once he starts to put the work in.
  16. Definitely was worth the risk. This kid is more talented than Luck was and thats saying something loud. With the tools he has i got no problems with taking some time to iron out the flaws. Flaws that i think wont take a huge effort to over come. Im glad he was the pick bc i worried for a second that we were going Levis. Im on record as saying i liked Levis but as you know i felt his problems were as serious or worse than AR. And this is after all that NFL training and NFL people being around him. And having less talent than AR.
  17. I want to see AR and Woods get that connection going. Both of them had 10 out of 10 RAS right?
  18. Is Richardsons guard from Florida still available?
  19. Keefer and Holder kept saying it was AR in one way or another.
  20. Levis has significant problems with things that screw games up. Sacks, picks, and then the wreckless play style. And people kept acting like it wasnt a big deal. But then losing there mind over Richardsons completion percentage
  21. I got a cannon and i wanna show it off! I got a cannon and i wanna show it off! Go eat your bananas Will. We dont wanna see it. We have our quarterback already sir!
