Gimmee CJ. Best pick for a veteran team. Not too many flaws in his game. Kills me when people try to slip in the he cant handle pressure deal as if its some kind of major proven issue hes dealing with. And then that same group of people want Will Levis the sack and pick king! People are not consistent about their standards i see. CJ isnt slow either. The Ohio State offense just doesnt emphasize the QB run. Getting Stroud is the perfect fit for "Throw to Score" "Run to Win". And you heard me before saying id choose AR over Levis bc despite whatever Levis has going over AR in terms of experience, nfl system exposure, academics, etc. He still did nothing in terms of production to show he was head and shoulders above AR. I think AR takes care of the football better, AR has low sack numbers, AR is physical but not wreckless, he has more elite traits, better awareness than Levis, more dual threat than Levis. AR is a much better athlete and you can see the advantages of that on film in critical moments. And lastly he can take over a whole game on his own using his feet when needed. Just a lot to like despite needing mechanical and touch work on his short and intermediate throws.

Nothing to address other than Guard and depth positions. Most of which will be addressed in the draft and afterwards when cuts are made.

Sure because he placed a big emphasis on the aquisition of the OL coach when asked about the lack of moves made. I interpret that comment as him judging last years problems as largely but not completely coaching related. Whatever Sparano brings to the table he sees as being a fairly solid step towards getting the OL right.

So i interpret him viewing the OL problems from last year as largely a coaching problem

Ballard doing exactly what i thought hed do and i like it. Stacking a bunch of cheap high value role player contracts in key areas. Get the QB in draft and one or two trade backs to add a bunch of drafted players to the mix. Thats my dude!

I asked you about Quarterback. There was really only one draft where we had viable positioning to get a good QB and we traded for Buckner. So im asking in all the other ones where we had to draft in the 20s and below who was at QB thar you felt we should have drafted?

As far as anyone can tell the rook we have at LT now is trending the right way so why be stuck on that? And Paye is also. As well as Dayo.

What you dont see is you are not able to be satisfied. Each time one thing is met you will move on to a new complaint.

See you keep creating new circumstances. Each time one thing gets satisfied you create some other reason to be dissatisfied. How can a guy win with that outlook? Ballard will never really satisfy you.

You didnt have any problems with the vet QB he just picked up. You were the main guy celebrating. Lol! And then once he drafts the QB then you will move on to trashing the pick. Not bc hes a coward all of a sudden but bc hes incompetent. Do you even know what you want?

And literally none of these players you mention got on those teams via a trade or free agency. They were all drafted and they dont play by themselves. Ballard told no lies. We should do what these teams did and draft our guy and develop for years on a cheap rookie contract.

Im surprised Ballard didnt make any moves on Greedy Williams.

I dont mind Lamar either but i think that very large contract Ballard may not be willing to pay.
