  1. Because he may never get the money if he does play. See Marlon Mack after Achilles tear.
  2. Bring The Juice said the offers have been higher than expected
  3. Our TE room is pretty nice though. I think you have to figure that in. Upgrade or two at WR wouldn't hurt though.
  4. I'm good with Moss, Hull, and another speed back. Deon Jackson is fast but I question his vision and shiftiness as a runner. I did like how Steichen used him against the Bills though. I'd like to have a guy like with a style like Marlon Mack to go along with Hull and Moss. Put them with Richardsons legs and I think that's more than good enough. I'd like JT if we can, but I think we can still be pretty productive without him with the right type of committee backs.
  5. I think he works the pocket and deals with pressure well. Also think he processes what is happening correctly for the most part. Knows where to go with the football. It's the delivery that we need him to continue fine tuning. Like I mentioned before, Cam went his whole career right at 59 to 60 percent pass percentage. It's the rest of the intangibles that made his game a nightmare for the opponent and an asset for Carolina. I think the same may ultimately hold true for Richardson. He might always hover around 59 to 63 percent. With everything he brings to the table I think we can still win a lot of games as long as he isn't a turnover machine. As far as I know he is pretty conscious about taking care of the football. I'm also waiting and see on the OL but I'm trusting Ballard and the confidence he showed about them being a much better unit this year. We will see!
  6. I think he is laterally quick coming off read option rpo type of movements where his body is already facing where he needs to run and he can make a cut. I don't think he is shifty, Lamar Jackson fake you out of your shoes short space quick. He's got some stiffness there. I think he is going to extend a bunch of 3rd downs for us. He is poised and composed when pressured.
  7. I don't think you take Williams over AR if AR first year is clunky but he shows enough of the promise you thought was there. Because you (Morocco Brown) called AR a generational prospect, a purple unicorn type player. And you admitted and acknowledged in your own evaluation that the draft selection was based on what you thought he could be in the near future. If what you saw is there, even if the year was rough I'd say stay with him and continue to mold. On the flip side if everything you saw in year 1 convinced you he's not near as close as you thought then yes you'd be better suited to take Caleb Williams and few would blame you. Overall I'd be careful about the grass is greener take if I've already got someone I think is generational in the saddle. Now if I've got a Tannehill/Sam Darnold type as my signal caller, he played well, but I know his ceiling is only going so far then I'm moving on either way. Whether he did well or not.
  8. Colts are in great position if he does find anything. I will take a 1st rounder please! Taylor sit down and meet them in the middle like I have been telling you sir!
  9. When I say 2 I mean how many teams are holding joint practices with 2 different opponents?
  10. Are we not having joint practice with the Eagles as well? How many teams are having 2 sets of joint practices with teams? Is this common practice this season? Because if it's not then he'll more than make up for those snaps against Philly. Im sure he'll take the bulk of those snaps including the bulk of the playing time in the actual Eagles Colts game. He's going to learn a ton against Philly because that team is stacked as well. I get your view point, but I think it's better for him at this point to play against the 1s since he is the starter. He needs the right kind of experiences, not just any experience. I don't think he missed much by not playing yesterday.
  11. I think Steichen is a pretty competent coach so far. I've got confidence that he knows what he's doing, especially Xs and Os wise. I can't say that i've felt that way in a while about some of our previous coaches.
  12. At first I thought he was going to play before the game primarily because the Texans had joint practices with the Dolphins all week. I watched that game and they gave Stroud quite a bit of playing time. So I figured with AR lack of experience we would probably handle our situation the same way. Turns out we didn't, but Im fine with the reasoning of him getting a good deal of experience in those joint practices with the starters. Plus he's going to get a lot of snaps against Philly with the number 1 offense and continue building continuity. Yesterdays game was played with all the backups and guys who may or may not make the team.
  13. And all that fool has to do for the most part is hand the play calling over to his OC. Or maybe look at giving it to Jim Caldwell, but he refuses to do so bc he thinks he's Andy Reid.
  14. I like the way Steichen calls plays in a game much better than Frank Reich.
  15. Claimed off waivers. You're right https://www.colts.com/news/colts-sign-guard-mark-glowinski-to-contract-extension
  16. We found Glowinski off of a practice squad so Im thinking there should be something out there if he's not satisfied with their current plan to address Guard.
  17. Im sure Ballard has got his eye on those cuts more than usual this year because of our position in the pecking order.
  18. I'm saying there's no way a veteran receiver is sitting here getting beaten out by Strachan and Amari Rogers. And then now they are bringing in Washington. To me it seems as if he hasn't even been given a shot. He's not a scrub to the point of getting no catches and no playing time. It's weird to me.
  19. I'm still trying to figure out what has happened with Breshard Perriman. Just disappeared from the conversation I guess.
  20. You've got AQM, Titus Leo, and Lewis, but I don't think Ebukams is serious though.
  21. I think Titus Leo can play it as well. He seems to be coming along pretty good. I think Ebukam is okay though. I don't think it's serious from what I gathered talking to people on Ken Sterling channel.
  22. Didn't know AR has a rap video.Think it's from college. Not too bad!
  23. What I mean is so far it's never translated to him doing well in the regular season.
  24. I don't know what to make of Strachan bc he always does well in preseason.
