  2. There are no bad losses this year unless there is major injury. This should be a stress-free year for Colts fans. Enjoy the ride -- good or bad.
  3. Thank you! There is lots of optimism in Colts Nation! You have a young head coach, a fairly young team and a very young QB with so much potential -- that is a lot to be excited about.
  4. Are you meeting any other fans from this forum? It sounds like many will be there. Enjoy it!

  6. I might root for the Padres for @Lancer1
  7. They are different. I love Luck but I don't know if I would take him over Mahomes. But I am a huge fan of Luck. I also loved the guy you called Noodle Arm. He was one of my favorite QBs to come out of college. I cannot wait to see him go to the Hall. He is not first ballot but will go in eventually. Luck unfortunately will not, as he did not play long enough. Had he won a SB, Luck may have but not sure.
  8. Jared, you seem to be describing Kirk Cousins. Luck was so much better. I remember in 2016 when everyone but Superman here thought the Vikings were going to destroy the Colts. I recall someone saying that Luck may not even make it through the game because the Colts OL was so bad that year. Luck played brilliantly with the likes of Danielle Hunter and Everson Griffen chasing him. The Vikings defense was very highly rated that year. Luck destroyed them. I would have loved Luck as my QB. Edit: @Jared Cisneros @2006Coltsbestever I edited the post but I was not able to change it to show who I quoted.
  9. I wish I could have a season like this one -- one in which the goal is to build for the future. Winning is gravy. Losing allows the team to draft higher, possibly draft a top player like Marvin Harrison, Jr. Enjoy the ride. It should be fun, regardless of the record.
  10. I cannot think of any player that has been playing longer. It seems like he has been playing for decades. What is great is that he has been on the same team all along. I love that! Why can't the Mets get a Joey Votto. We had David Wright but spinal stenosis or a similar condition forced him to retire early. I loved David Wright!!
  11. I would love the Reds to make it. Is Joey Votto still there? (I have not followed baseball in so long that I forgot how to spell Votto.)
  12. I have not followed baseball all year. From the sounds of it, it seems that the Braves are red hot. I say the Braves but I would love a team to knock them out. Lol. I would like a team that has never won to win the World Series. What team is that? The Brewers?
  13. Ok. We have seen players at practice who are not practicing. Wasn't JT shown on the side watching his teammates practice early in training camp??
  14. @csmopar Did you find an answer for me? I pulled the following from an NFL.com article. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-training-camp-roster-faqs-defining-injured-reserve-pup-list-nfi-and-more So, I'm assuming they can be "at practice" but cannot practice.
  15. I think it has happened a lot. We just didn't know it. How many players have had concussions and sent back out to play! I don't know if that happened with JT but it has happened with others.
  16. @csmopar Is "being at practice" the same as practicing? When a player is on the PUP list, he cannot practice but he can be at practice (not practicing), as they are allowed to participate in other team activities (meetings, etc). They just can't practice. If Boyd said he did not see him "at practice", he may not have meant he did not see JT practicing. It may mean he has not seen JT around.
  17. Richardson is an elite offensive talent. Give him time as you did other QBs. He will shine.
  18. @w87r

"It's been a dream since I was 7 years old. I'm definitely not letting that contract stuff get in the way of my team. We have to be focused on getting to the Super Bowl.”

    I love this guy!!

  19. What do the Eagles lose for signing him? Did the Eagles give him a signing bonus? I wonder why other teams did not try to sign him.
  20. Do the Eagles have to pay him for the year? If not, what is the disadvantage of not keeping him?
  21. I like my WRs. Lol. I think we (the Vikings) have a deep WR corps. Our RB corps is not.
  22. @2006Coltsbestever I am responding to your question in the JT thread. I think a reply is to that is more appropriate here. I have no idea how they will do. Maybe 9-8 or 10-7, hopefully better or a lot worse (for a high draft pick). I hate middling.
