  1. As much as I want to see AR, I'll be happy to see Minshew too this weekend, he is a fun player and the boys seem to like to play with/for him, besides, sideline experience won't hurt AR either.
  2. I know it's crazy to say this out loud, been a fan of the Colts since 1999 and what Manning has become has captured my interest and amazed me for over a decade but darn Luck became my favourite player ever in those few years he played. This guy has heart. It all started with that tackle on Shareece Wright.
  3. As long as we are competitive in this game and execute our offensive and defensive schemes, basically looking like we have a plan, I'm happy. Big test.
  4. The linebackers as a unit are doing great, good enough for me for now
  5. I hope he is okay, gotta learn and navigate the waters of a running nfl qb unfortunately this is the risk but thats why he is unique, I trust him to improve on this also don’t forget, this is a 21-22 year old who excelled physically everywhere he ever played, he is finding out where he is on the food chain in the nfl but I like his chances
  6. Drafted, the conversation is about free agents.
  7. None of those were even close to elite, great, probably above average and that's being generous Nothing tells you how much location matters in the NFL that we had Peyton Manning for decades and struggled to sign impactful game changing players And it totally makes sense Even Ebron was a wild card we had to overpay to come, but he was a bust that might reemerge kind of signing, but my memory could be foggy on that, don't think it was a race to sign him
  8. I'm one of those Ballard excusers that don't think he is much to blame for our FA problems. It has always been a problem for us. In this internet age, hardly anyone will come to Indy, the possibilities of bigger media cities of the coasts just dwarf what Indy can offer financially. We either draft and develop or trade and overpay.
  9. I'd love to get those guys but in reality you have to luck into them cause they aint coming to Indy as free agents thats for sure.
  10. I see what you saying and its an interesting thought and I wouldnt be surprised if that would factor in to team building approaches all over the league but I believe Ballard to have a strong bpa mindset when it comes to drafting. Limiting yourself to certain positions each year to fill those positions w talent, based on the fact you prioritise those positions purely out of cost effectiveness seems like a contradiction ps. didn't read previous comments just that one I replied to
  11. Also how about coaches or front office personal? How many survived the purge in 2011?
  12. Falling in love w EJ Speed more and more, love our linebackers
  13. The issue with FA isn't Ballard but the location of the franchise, it's an area we have historically struggled in Regarding the suck for luck, this has been discussed at length and don't think we can add much more to that story. You either on one side or the other.
  14. I wasn't specifically talking about you, more like your comment triggered a response to a topic I see being brought up here all the time Giving a chance to younger players whose development would pay off in the long run like our corners over Gilmore etc, isn't the same as tanking which I don't believe is in the character of this organisation either, definitely not at this point of the season Not looking to be a keyboard warrior, just don't get this negativity here around team (again not a comment on your comment)
  15. Some of the negativity around this team here is truly baffling, people out here are talking about the team tanking after Week 1 If this is what you expect from your team, front office and coaching groups, why even follow
  16. I always find it incredible that we are watching the same sport, same team and league and same game and we walk away with a wildly different experience and expectations. I, for one, am super excited, if I give up on this team that'll be after Week 18 not Week 1 fml.
  17. Realistically, in my opinion, the two things we needed to see from Richardson are flashes of being a special talent and control of the O overall.(line of scrimmage and all that) I think he showed promise yesterday and he will keep improving and it will be damn exciting. I'm all here for it.
  18. That was a lot of FUN, we did a lot better than expected. RB is an issue, I like Jackson but we need more depth. WRs need to start stepping up Defense showed up big Zaire Franklin is a menace EJ Speed will have a breakout year imo. Corners I'm not sure what to say yet, need to see more of the tape.
  19. Sad to see this happening but it is the way of the markets. Simple supply and demand. They way the league been flooded with WR talent the past 3-4 years, it's a matter of time till similar things happen w that position. Organic circles.
  20. I swear people think the NFL works the same way as your Madden cfm.
