Colts Have Mystery Prospect Rated High on Board

Recommended Posts

Tremaine Edmunds is being compared to Urlacher who was selected in the 1st round, 9th pick.

Urlacher was the rare MLB that could cover the deep third, blitz and run sideline to sideline to cover backs/tightends and/or make a tackle.

It's not TOO far fetched to add to the rebuild with a player of that type since it may actually be the toughest to fill....

Pick up Darius Leonard, Skai Moore or Fred Warner in the 3rd, 4th or 5th to compete with Walker to play WILL and the defense looks absolutely different already.

I think it's Edmunds. He fits the criteria that Ballard and Eberflus seem to want in a prospect that's just scratching the surface of his potential and plays one of the more important positions in Tampa 2.

I concur.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the Colts are not taking Nelson at 6. It’s down to Edmunds, Chubb, Barkley, or James.

I think Roquan Smith is still in that conversation as well. It would just depend on if Chubb or Barkley were still there.
