    Agreed. I don't really care how his communication skills are as long as they don't negatively affect the team or his performance. I've never heard he was a bad teammate from his coaches or teammate, so that's good.

    Thanks NCF. Googled it but I get all kinds of different dates. Should be very soon I would think. I'm really interested to get another look/listen to AD Mitchell. Got to say I've seen several interviews (not just the draft one) and he doesn't cone off very well.

    I think with him and Harrison, this team figures they got their linebacker depth and more so if EJ leaves.

    Very true. If they don't have designed runs for him, why pick him that high? That's part of the overall package. They knew the risk when they took him. That said, don't go nuts with it, but Steichen knows what he's doing.

    Yes. Latu helps the secondary. Their starting DB Flowers is back. The kids have a year of experience. They resigned Blackman and still have all the way to cut down day to add a vet if they want.

    I think this is the best shape this oline has been in a looonnggg time. Starters, depth, potential, versatility. I'd say that about the dline as well.

    Great Colts player. Certainly one of our most exciting. Gave us his best including his health (mental and physical). I hope he can overlook those who still feel like he stole their firstborn. Wish him nothing but happiness.

    So when Cross and Blackmon played together last year, who played FS most often? I say that because I recall seeing Cross in the box quite a bit.

    He was always one of my favorite Colts and honestly, I'm not sure why. Just something about him always made me want to pull for him.

    BBZ, what do you mean when you say Brents will be successfully targeted because of his size and speed? Aren't those his good traits?

    If the secondary was so bad last year, wouldn't 51 sacks be an even more impressive stat?

    Agreed. I know neither Blackmon or Cross might be a true FS, but I think they still played well together and each has do much athletic ability, I think they could be very successful. Anyway in the Colts D both safeties sort of play both positions.

    Hello NCF! My memory isn't the best but when Cross finally started getting playing time with Blackmon, didn't they do well with both basically playing both FS and SS?

    Blackmon and cross are a very good safety pair right now. And could develop into something special if given the chance to grow together.

    Why aren't people here calling for Blackmon to be resigned instead of wanting these other fa safeties? I don't see any of them as much better than Blackmon if at all. Is it just because he's ours?
