  1. You’re right, all of them have. But no one has lost more than Belichick. The topic of his top coordinators and assistants leaving and never being as successful as they were with Bill is a discussion point in the NFL. It’s not with any other head coach.
  2. For what it’s worth…. Dan Orlovsky is reporting that BB and Kraft have already agreed to let BB finish the season and Bill will then step down. Also…. Bill already has another job lined up ready to go. Either way, this will be a story to watch….
  3. FWIW: ESPN analytics peg the Colts chances at making the playoffs at…. 24%. Again, this is not the opinion of one writer, this is the result of their analytics.
  4. For what it’s worth, Nugent and the Wolverines starting RT are both Stanford transfers. They left (along with many others) when Shaw retired. It’s a new world…..
  5. Thanks. Now it makes sense. Appreciate that!
  6. Good response, Thanks…. One small speed bump…. In your list of CB’s you listed Speed. I assume that’s a typo? Who did you mean to say? I know there’s a popular push here for using a high pick on a corner. But that’s a view I don’t support. Thanks again….
  7. In various threads over the last two months people here have called for the team to address the followings needs via the draft…. DE, DT, WR, CB, S, LB, RB (should Moss leave) and QB for the Minshew sucks crowd. Not all of these needs can be fixed thru the draft. Some will have to be filled via FA. I don’t read posters saying the Colts can fix some issues with free agency. They only mention the draft. Hope this clarifies my position.
  8. I’ve read the responses and people talk about drafting Kelly’s replacement. One thing the Colts might do instead is sign a free agent center. I’m only saying all of our issues won’t be fixed with the draft. Some will have to be addressed by free agency. Food for thought.
  9. I believe Moss becomes a FA in mid-March. He’ll have little to no value from the end of the season to to the start of the new season. A 6 or a 7 if that. I think the goal is to convince Moss to stay and that Steichen can create an offense using both Moss and JT. I think the Colts want to show Moss they value him highly. We will all know once the season ends.
  10. I think the Colts finish 8-9 and pick roughly 12-14.
  11. I believe I’ve read AR should be good to go in 8 months. I think his operation was around Nov 1, which should him back at July 1, and camp typically starts the last week of July. So he should be fine.
  12. If enjoying a win makes me a troll, then I’m happily guilty as charged!!
  13. I know many here didn’t enjoy the game, but I certainly did. Every snap, the good and the bad. A really good defensive effort. Glad for Bradley and his unit.
  14. Minshew is the BACKUP! Hello?!? This is often what happens when the backup becomes the starter.
  15. Minshew is NOT awful. He’s a backup. By definition the backup QB is not as good as the starting quarterback. Minshew has limitations that get exposed the more he plays. But as backups go, Minshew is one of the better ones in football.
  16. FWIW…. I never think if anyone as a bust because they can’t stay healthy. I only think of them as a bust when they’re healthy but not playing well…. That’s my rule of thumb.
  17. My name is Michael Forrest. People call me Michael Forrest! It’s a household name.
  18. Bad nights sleep, but really liking what I’m seeing in the field. Though this 3 and out was highly unimpressive….

  20. If you’re interested in getting money to Matt’s four children and his wife, there’s a way to do it….. There’s a funding website called GiveSendGo.com I never heard of it until tonight but it’s very similar to GoFundMe.com Hope you’ll consider helping his family….
