  1. I did see the game. A passer rating of 66.4 for 221 yards, 0 TDs and 1 Int to lose the game was what I imagined Levis to do for the most part lol. AR also has a higher completion percentage than Levis at this point (59.5% vs 56.4%) , and that was supposedly his biggest negative coming into the draft.
  2. The # does his weight have anything to do with anything?? Do you think DBs haven't hit players hard in the NFL and won't continue to hit players hard going forward??? Did you see Burks get hospitalized yesterday by a hit from a DB??? Injuries happen to multiple players every week regardless of the position/facilitator of the hit (or their weight I guess lmao). It's the * NFL, and that's a lesson that AR needed to learn because he thought the 190 pound guy was just gonna bounce off him on that run so he slowed down. It's hilarious seeing how many supposed Colts fans want AR to fail on this forum in particular. I for one want to see Stroud and Levis and Lawrence to have awful careers while in the AFC South because that would benefit my team greatly. Simple as.
  3. Ah yes AR only got hit on the play he got injured this season. And injuries certainly don't happen in the NFL.Go root for your boy
  4. Stop trying to be rational 2006. Obviously 'running' QBs are the only ones that get hurt and 5 games is all it takes to make that clever observation.
  5. Leonard has been our best overall LB based of PFF score when also taking pass coverage into consideration these last 2-3 weeks. Not that the defense has been any good to make that mean much, but just throwing that out there before people say he's been the weak point of the D. He's been playing slightly above average for an NFL ILB these last few weeks. None of us know how much the injury is limiting him currently and if he is going to permanently capped at some point from his current recovery. But it is a good sign these last few weeks he's been at his best so far. Is he worth his current contract next year? Well, that's a different topic that I don't think we'll have enough data to make until the off-season. Let's hope he continues his upwards trend.
  6. Levis is mid. He'll look like an All Pro if you don't cover Hopkins deep with a safety though. Most QBs with a strong arm would.I guess the Falcons didn't get the memo about the old man. He has the pocket presence of Gardner Minshew, at best.
  7. Leonard is getting better each and every week. Hope it continues throughout the rest of the season.
  8. Positives - I love seeing JT returning to form. Along with Moss to spell him, he should be back to 100 percent by the end of the year for sure. A healthy JT with AR will be terrifying for NFL defenses going forward. - Downs is still a very reliable slot WR and he's only in his rookie year. It'll be exciting to see how good he can get with AR going forward. Negatives (a lot) - We might have the worst pass D in the league on all levels. Our LBs are awful in pass coverage (and Leonard isn't creating turnovers, which is part of why he's so handsomely payed), our CB group is depleted (and wasn't very talented to begin with)and our Safeties are mediocre at best. The only light at the end of this tunnel is that the best looking players in our secondary have been the rookies, so the future at least looks somewhat bright there. Brown and Brents suck. - Minshew is mid. We've known this. If the game becomes a shoot out or the offense needs to make a major comeback, then he's the wrong man for the job due to his lack of arm strength to stretch the field and poor pocket presence. He has been turning the ball over a ton because he's limited and being asked to do way too much these last few weeks. Still a great backup QB though - Freeland needs Braden Smith to return. His first run as a rookie OT has been a gauntlet (Donald, Garrett, Jordan). Hopefully the exp helps him next year. I think the rest of the OL has been pretty decent though, but nothing great. - Missing Stewart brings our run D down from elite to slightly above average. - Bradley has way too much faith in Brown to match him up one on one with Olave. How Bradley has responded to the injuries these last few weeks has just been poor overall.
  9. You follow the Colts well enough to know that isn't going to happen this year no matter what the record ends up
  10. He's got a few games left to prove what he's got, but if he continues with this level of production then it's gonna be hard to justify keeping him on the team for how big his cap hit is currently. I will say he's been more involved the last two weeks, which is nice to see.
  11. If Brown and Brents are some of your topped billed CBs, you're not gonna have a good day. At the very least Brown only got snaps after a bunch of injuries. Brents somehow was our CB1 coming out of training camp. ROFL.
  12. Nah, he's just mediocre. Always has been. A weak arm will do that to ya. Once Juju and Stewart come back, we might win a few more.
  13. I think that pass was just as much on Minshew as it was Pierce, if not slightly more.
  14. If Brown and Baker headline your DB room, then don't have any expectations for the pass defense.
  15. 18 - 20 M seems to be the range for good WR2 money now. The Colts might decide to move on from Pittman with Pierce next year (I hope not) and draft a WR early, but I'm fairly confident someone will pay him 18-20 M if not us.
  16. Maybe, but I don't think it should be hard for Ballard to pick up someone who can perform at least a bit better then Baker as a starting CB. No clue how he got the starting job in Training Camp. Juju and all the other CBs on this roster are better than him. They are just getting hurt.
  17. Kenny on the outside is where he's at his worst. I think he's found his groove in Bradley's D now and moving him might hurt that.
  18. Plenty of QBs are better at securing the ball when they get hit, or have the ability to detect pocket pressure very well and/or have the speed/strength to break out of would be sacks. Minshew doesn't have those traits, which isn't his fault but there definitely are other players (i.e Richardson) that do. Ill say this, Minshew is far better at that then Matt Ryan was at the very least lol
  19. After calming down from the b.s ref calls, here are my thoughts Good: - Minshew rebounded a bit from the god awful Jags game. He still turned the ball over too much, but managed the game well overall - JT is returning to form against a strong Browns D. Hope the progress continues - Ballard hit hard with Downs. He, Pittman (if resigned) and one more blue chip WR should make a great group for AR going forward. - The D played solidly overall. Cleveland has a very mediocre offense however, so that should have been expected. Bad - Missing Stewart means that some breakaway run plays are more likely to happen. Grover is an elite run stopper and his presence will be missed. - Steichen is a good play caller, as evident with the point total vs the elite Browns D. However, he has moments where his situational awareness seems wild to me. Playing in your own goal line with Minshew as your QB, Freeland as the RT and Myles Garrett lined up across from him is just not a good scenario to pass the ball. Especially given that Minshew isn't that great at escaping or detecting pressure. - Baker is awful. He was picked on by PJ Walker of all people. Now, those two flags called on him were super b.s, but doesn't take away the poor game he had. Losing Juju hurt. - We played better than the Browns, yet still lost. I hate those kind of games.
  20. I have a lot I'd like to say about the game, but nothing is more important then the fact that the refs #ed us over horribly. I hate using refball as an 'excuse', but that was egregiously horrible. All these refs should be full time employees that are subjugated to performance based results (meaning, * up plays gets you FIRED). The way they operate ATM is awful and makes them incredibly untrustworthy. Somehow their union is a lot stronger than the NFLPA...
  21. * rigged. That's all anyone should be talking about this game.
  22. I never say we got cheated. But we got * cheated. # these refs.
