  1. Sad. This tells me the Colts think he's capped at his current level of play due to his injuries. Even if that's the case, he's been the best overall LB on this team the last couple of weeks (besides the Patriots game) so I'm a bit confused why they released him before the end of the year. It's not like we save more by cutting him now. Anyone saying he quit after he got the bag is an absolute troglodyte or simply an *. The injury he fought through has simply capped his production and it wasn't warranted to continue paying him what he was getting payed. I'll leave it at that
  2. That's fine. Woods will have to prove himself this next off-season and training camp to get a spot on the roster now.
  3. I did because he was horrible last year and an obvious weak spot in an otherwise very strong Defense. Glad to see him step up this year. Hope to see the same from several other Colts players that are not performing ATM.
  4. It's just you in the Twilight Zone if you think the Colts are going into the off-season looking for a QB. Being concerned about his longevity due to the two injuries he had that made him miss time is one thing, but acting like he wasn't having a promising start this year showing a bunch of franchise QB talent as a 21 yr old rookie is something else.
  5. I think they'd be very stupid to fire BB as a coach. Maybe relieve him of GM duties, but no team will go anywhere with a bum like Mac Jones as your QB. I'm glad that dude turned out to be a bust.
  6. Watching Belichick's reaction to the game losing interception made up for this incredibly boring game played at 6:30 AM on the West Coast.
  7. The Panthers are easily the least talented team in the NFL, especially on offense. I still think Young pops off in 1-2 years if they can build an even decent roster. Probably would need to let go of Reich as well, but Reich has shown he can get carried by a good roster at the very least. The bad thing (for them) is that the Panthers traded most of their upcoming assets to get Young to begin with.
  8. He played decently this week and lead the team in tackles despite not playing in all the snaps.
  9. So does every other team but one every year. I'm happy to see a better overall team this year, even with the starting QB down.
  10. The Panthers have an overall good defense. They've lost due to their abysmal offense more than anything this year. The Colts didn't look too hot offensively, but we also didn't pass the ball too much considering we had a lead through most of the games. Even the best teams have ugly wins from time to time, and I far rather win ugly then lose while scoring big (which has primarly been the case in the last three weeks)
  11. This team may not have too much to look forward to in regards to the postseason, but it's still way better football being played then what we had last year.
  12. To be fair, Young has one of the worst OL and WR corps I've seen in a minute. That trade up by the Panthers seemed like an awful move considering their roster is really bad overall.
  13. That's also why AR needs to slide more. Make the Ds fear hitting you hard.
  14. I don't know how what Nelson did was considered a foul, seems like an obscure OL rule.
  15. There were tons of pundits/articles him the worst pick in the draft. I'd be * about that too tbh. Him being * about that did us a lot of good.
  16. I just said that his stat line was bad this week, and it's what I expect from him going forward. Supposed Colts fans on here were acting like he had a good week somehow. He could improve for sure, but his clock is already shorter than ARs due to his age. This forum always gets weird when the Colts are on a losing streak(not you in particular). Half this thread read like Titans fans the way they support Mr.Mayo over AR, so pardon me for defending the Colts player on the Colts forum in a thread comparing QBs lmao.
  17. I did see the game. A passer rating of 66.4 for 221 yards, 0 TDs and 1 Int to lose the game was what I imagined Levis to do for the most part lol. AR also has a higher completion percentage than Levis at this point (59.5% vs 56.4%) , and that was supposedly his biggest negative coming into the draft.
  18. The # does his weight have anything to do with anything?? Do you think DBs haven't hit players hard in the NFL and won't continue to hit players hard going forward??? Did you see Burks get hospitalized yesterday by a hit from a DB??? Injuries happen to multiple players every week regardless of the position/facilitator of the hit (or their weight I guess lmao). It's the * NFL, and that's a lesson that AR needed to learn because he thought the 190 pound guy was just gonna bounce off him on that run so he slowed down. It's hilarious seeing how many supposed Colts fans want AR to fail on this forum in particular. I for one want to see Stroud and Levis and Lawrence to have awful careers while in the AFC South because that would benefit my team greatly. Simple as.
  19. Ah yes AR only got hit on the play he got injured this season. And injuries certainly don't happen in the NFL.Go root for your boy
  20. Stop trying to be rational 2006. Obviously 'running' QBs are the only ones that get hurt and 5 games is all it takes to make that clever observation.
