  1. I can handle a loss!! What I have difficulty dealing with is - not being competitive.
  2. It appears that the Denver Broncos are having an NFL-sized yard sale - with multiple players said to be on the trading block and/or looking at being released sooner than later. Keeping fingers crossed that Chris Ballard will pull the trigger on this trade opportunity - sooner than later!!
  3. I'll play "devil's advocate" - and - remind you that if he and the NFLPA feel that this suspension is unwarranted - they can appeal the decision. Fingers crossed that the suspension is either dropped - OR - reduced in length.
  4. Irsay used the word "PROBABLY" - aka - NO DECISION has been made at this time. The Colts are doing their due diligence by getting information from a number of sources to make the very best possible decision for Anthony Richardson and his long-term health. Having had this matter explained by ESPN's group of analysts - including Jeff Saturday & Pat McAfee - this is still a fluid situation and information is still being gleaned.
  5. Former NFL QB - and - future Hall of Famer - Matt Ryan was in the broadcast booth for Sunday's game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Washington Commanders. I was thrilled that the Falcons home crowd game him a very special welcome back to the dome. You could tell that Matt Ryan was definitely touched by their welcome.
  6. Some of the sports media - including Pat McAfee - think there is a possibility that Aaron Rodgers "could return" for the Jets before the end of the season. Your thoughts?
  7. Thanks for doing that - I tried to post it - but - couldn't get it to add to my initial comments!!
  8. I LOVED Bob Lamey - and - feel he got "the shaft" for a situation that had happened years earlier!! The ten second delay makes it IMPOSSIBLE to keep things straight with the radio broadcast and watching on TV. You know what's going to happen - before it happens - which is a good thing. You can start cheering at the top of your lungs - making the people down the hall wonder what's going on!! LOLOLOLOL!!
  9. My apology that I missed that sentence. My bad!!
  10. PRAYING FOR ANTHONY RICHARDSON!!

  11. I invite you to read the article on NFL.com regarding this matter.
  12. No word yet on who will be under center for the Browns when we host them on Sunday!!
  13. Unfortunately - when another team actively pursues one of our players - there's a point where you get in to a "bidding war" - and - Chris Ballard doesn't participate in "bidding wars". Simply put - you can't keep everyone.
  14. Many - if not most - of the standard NFL contracts prohibit their players from engaging in any type of activity with the potential to cause injury. Besides - WHY would an NFL player sign up for an amateur sport in the Olympics when his $$$$ could be on the line?
  15. According to the article I read on NFL.com - this was "the plan" from the moment that Reich hired OC Thomas Brown - who is well regarded as a "bright offensive mind". We shall se what we shall see.
  16. I start out my Colts gameday by watching "Countdown to Kickoff" on WISH-TV. Then switching at the half-hour to the "Blue Zone" on CBS4 in Indy. My personal preference is "The NFL Today" on CBS for the pre-game coverage. I listen to Colts Radio during the game - and - mute the television. Colts radio provides more specific and timely news regarding the Colts.
  17. SHAKE OFF THE "CLUNKER" - THE BROWNS WILL SOON BE IN TOWN!!

  18. Which NFL pre-game show is YOU "go-to source" for Colts game information?
  19. Negativity is the toxic by-product of social media!! Bah Humbug to negativity!!
  20. The team can't help the fact that Anthony Richardson got hurt. He'll still be getting mental reps and learning in the team meetings about game planning and other facets of the NFL game. It's not "game reps" - but - it is still growth potential. I'm wishing Gardner Minshew the very best in his new role as QB1 - for however long it lasts. I believe firmly that Shane Steichen's knowledge of Minshew's skillset will help with gameday preparation.
  21. Deshaun Watson has been dealing with a shoulder injury the past couple of weeks. That is why he is listed as "OUT" for Sunday's game.
  22. Mo Alie-Cox has cleared concussion protocol - and - WILL be active for Sunday's game vs the Jags!!
  23. JOLT THE JAGUARS!!

  24. Just read the article - it is very insightful and informative about Zaire Franklin!! Wishing him the very very best in reaching his goals this season and "to infinity and beyond"!!
