Sarcasm served today wild West Style: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.........Today..... Run defense good, pass defense apparently played by me, it was baaaaaaaad. Tolzien, was still more consistent then Morris.........apparently......... throwing two touchdowns to the Rams and Moncriefs face mask screwed up the 3rd. Head scratching coaching early, Gore (power runner mid field) Mack small fast guy at the goal line.......Where was the challenge flag Chuck on the Mack score.......save those time outs brutha.......Mack and TY's fumblerooskies didn't help.....and AV, missing 2 FG's makes you have to ask, is he starting to lose to father time, or does the new long snapper holder need more practice.....someone ask me today when I thought Luck would be ready, I said judging by the QB play today ...PDQ......Luckily it only counts as 1 loss, although I am sure the Rams will be asking the league to review that count......1 Game peeps, the suckage was large, but look at it this way, we can't look worse than that next week right?....well? Right? LOL

Right !!, we can't look worse than we did against the 49ers

  2. it will be a bad game followed by a good game.  it keeps us Colts fans on our toes.  We will be on this board after the Cardinals game talking about how amazing our line was and all of this will go away (for a while).  It's how it goes in the NFL and lately with the Colts.  We will all be backing off the ledge from our armchair quarterback positions by end of game Sunday.  Game prediction: Colts 17  Cardinals 14   (AV with the winning kick !!!).   Now if I could figure out the # of sacks we will give up.....  I'm going with 1 sack (on a blitz)

Edit: And Hilton will be amazing

I obviously have no inside info. But I'd bet that Tolzien starts Sunday.

in the locker room interview on the news today, it didn't look like he was in any big hurry to lose his starting job.  you might be right, pagano could listen to what he has to say, but like you would expect, he said the it's in his coaches hands.

Irsay has never shied away from spending money, and Ballard doesn't make roster decisions on the basis of contract status.

It's very obvious that their evaluation of the QB position led them to believe Tolzien would be good enough to handle the job in the short term. That contributed to not signing another QB to a bigger contract. It's also very obvious that they were wrong about Tolzien.

You're twisting this into a tanking conspiracy, when the simple and easy to understand explanation is that they missed badly on Tolzien.

the real question is, have they given up on him yet?  any insight or inside info?

  5. I feel for us fans and all, but i just have big-time sadness for Frank Gore, who now knows he is just squandering any chance to play on a contender and for a good coach.  He is such a warrior and with Luck on the shelf and the supporting cast , well, not supporting, it has to be a sinking feeling for him at this juncture in his career / life.

  6. Irsay said Pagano is our guy for 2017-2018 season.  When he says that, I think he means that.  And I also think Ballard would to have had one of those reality checks with Irsay long ago.  "Jim, this team is ummm, a dumpster fire with oxygen pumped in at high velocity.  I would like to shake the loose acorns off the tree and gut this Grigson fail, you in Jim?"

I think Pagano's acorn stem is getting pretty weak

Maybe not, but you don't have to be the sole owner. You just have to have a high stake in it. Remember, Jeter only invested $25 million into the Marlins, and they are worth over a Billion. I could probably win a powerball jackpot worth half a Billion and have most of the control as owner with the Colts.

i wonder how much Jeter's stake is worth now?  Might be scary.

relax people, i'm winning the lottery soon and after I acquire the Colts I will right this ship.

You can't even make enough to buy an NFL team by hitting the highest Powerball ever (after taxes and cash-out)
