I'm more worried and concerned about this season than excited. Hoping that the injuries stop and Luck is back to playing elite  soon.

Injuries are a broken record with this team, we will always have them in great numbers --- just a hex I think.  Not sure who put it on us, but someone did.

The Rams are better for moving on from Fisher lol. We probably won't win, even without Aaron Donald playing. The Rams always seem to have our number.

Donald is a beast, it will hurt them for sure.  with or without him, feel the same about the final outcome,,,,i'm keeping my prediction as is.

How's about we see how they look Sunday afternoon?  Eh?

    Good lord.

Exactly, I predict we beat the Rams, even as beat up as we are.  This is a perfect opponent for us to start with, ,the Rams are in disarray after losing stalwart coach Fisher.  Prediction:   27-17.   We have weapons, Rams are the Rams.

There's an old axiom in the REAL leadership trade - "you can come in tough and ease up over time, but, you can't come in easy and then try and get tough."  People see right through it.

initially when hired, I thought he was the right guy, and perhaps he was for a bit.  But his soft-shell was eventually evident and his deer-in-the-headlights in-game coaching have become year in and year out head-scratchers.  to suddenly see him act the way he does starting with the draft, seems contrived and disingenuous. He might actually be a reptile, because he is leaving a trail of shed skins.

I wouldn't plan to see him play week 1.  I am more concerned about making sure that shoulder is really ready to go.  With no real practice yet trying to get that shoulder in throwing shape in the next couple of weeks could be a problem.

like to see him ready by playoffs...... oh wait

Is it just me or is anyone else already tired of Pagano and his complaining. He can't blame his GM anymore so he's looking for a new scapegoat to cover his butt, he's a defensive coach with a consistently bad defense and has made poor hirings for offensive coordinator (not counting Arians) and after his last rant blaming his young players for there injuries and lack of production just amazes me, with that attitude he is gonna lose the locker room. I do think Ballard has improved the defense and offense (the addition of Mack at Rb is promising) but I do believe we will not improve as a team until we have a real leader at Head Coach, I don't know who that is but I trust Ballard to make smart decisions moving forward.

First game of season is a ways off.  We are likely going to win that game, and if so, what will your thoughts be on Pagano after the first win (be it an ugly win or not, I'm talking about a victory in the NFL, and that aint easy), will he get any credit?  probably some, ,but it's a positive start and perhaps surprising to you and others... but I'm banking that we collect a win game 1.

  7. I really don't know how he does it.  Taking that kind of pounding year after year on medically corrected legs will return many years of aching bones and tired and weary limbs, and he knows full well what that means down the road.  He is one of the few iron men of the NFL, nothing but respect, never have I heard him complain.

On this forum, that is literally impossible. It could be the greatest piece of art ever created and wed still be divided.haha

lol, I would have him with a 4-D sculpture yelling Omaha, whereas others would have him at his rear-most stance ready to pick apart the defense.  It would be cool to have a little secret button on the statue that when you press it is says, "liquored up .i.d.i.o.t  kicker", liquored up .I.d.i.o.t  kicker"

I count him as #12 in pay.  That's not elite pay.  Elite pay is top 5 if you ask me.

Castanzo isn't even making the top 10 in pay.

eight-figure average annual salary for a LT is where I would draw the line, that's some fierce cash.
