NOOOO, there is NEVER a time for Hammy injuries, they can last 4 weeks or ALL SEASON. Never is the time for Hammy injuries, NEVER!!!!!! Ricker said he burned up his Hammy good too. UGH, I'm going to get a drink now.

Manning is the evaluator for guys like Davis, so yea, Manning didn't like what he saw, talked to the coaches and an instant decision was made. If Manning starts talking playbook and you look like you just soiled your knickers, then you are going to be selling newspapers on the street real quick. or insurance

In the link it says caldwell said he "should be fine".
Yea, Caldwell has said that about a lot of players. Like Freeney in the Super Bowl.
-
I don't know what has changed but Chick looks much better than he did in the pre-season last year. I can't quite figure it out. Last year he was looking slow, uncoordinated, and generally lethargic. Different all together now. Did he find a hot trophy wife or something, more action, or what??? You Go CHICK!
-
Yup, he was re-signed (not the first like you predicted) but you did call it.
But signing is not half way to starting. Show me a play in the preseason game where Devan played it well. I didn't do any weird analysis, I watch the game, I watched several plays over and over and over again. Devan did not play well.
I agree, DeVan did not play well at all. I saw many plays over and over too.

Collie's knee is not good from the sound of the other report on blue whatever-ness or news.
-
He'll end up going to the Patriots.
i hope so, he stunk out west.
-
look for 3rd week of regular season.
-
He is not going to sign with us. Polian will not play those games and he is too old of a receiver to bother with. Besides, we have talented players and we don't want Reggie Wayne getting any more ticked off than he already is.
-
He's going to sign with the PATS... pretty reliable blogs out there in cyber land. Pretty much a done deal,,,needs one more look in person by the PATS and then he's with them. He thinks PATS have a better shot at the Super Bowl

A player only becomes "GOOD" when your team wants him or shows interest, then all the fans go crazy for a name-brand,,,,,but TJ Housh is no-longer a name brand. He has gone from a Dell Computer to a Clone computer, Just isnt the same and never will be. WR's start declining well before his current age.... just ask Jerry Rice. Rice thought he would never lose his skills till the age of 40, he found out the hard way.

Sorry to say but our running game will again be down there with the Packers. Manning is the whole key, Chris Collinsworth said we will not make playoffs and that Manning is setting up for a VERY disappointing season. Ugh. I wish (hoping)Chris was wrong.
-
well, the article says he returned but that is false. i was there and he has an awful limp and could not contribute anything. he's trying to save his job but this injury looks serious enough to sideline him for the pre-season according to someone there from a national NFL web-site.
-
8-8 miss the playoffs by a bad game or two.
on the optimistic side. We could just surprise some people and have a good year. Have you heard Collingsworth(less)? He is saying Manning will be bad and our record worse than my prediction. Ugh!
-
Chris Farley, huh? Not as funny as I remember.
I'm sure you hope you're right too so next year or later this year you can say, "see I told you so". The thing is he was in a terrible system, for his play, with the Eagles and prior to injuries with the Lions' Tampa 2 he was pretty darn good. So I don't see how he can hurt us, if he doesn't play that great than Conner steps in (not Wheeler), simple as that.
Also, who exactly calls him "The Whiffer", your sister's-mother's-son?
Well, you bring up very good points. He was in a not-so-good-system, terrible? Not sure bout that,,,NFL teams are NFL teams and people get paid a lot of money to not barf chunks when it comes to at least putting a respectable plan in place on game-day.
Your comments notwithstanding and are well taken.

I've heard MANY people talk about SIMS (SIMMS) and was told NUMEROUS times that this guy is trailing WAY off and will not help the COlts much at all. I don't want to bust the bubble, please, don't get me wrong here but this guy is going to hurt more than help....he's known as the "Whiffer".... should tell you all you need to know.
-
it should tell you something by the fact that i can't find it reported on the main sections of any web-site right now. espn does not have it even if you click just "NFL". Must be an afterthought.
-
one thing i might add is that this might be a sign and trade, someone could possibly have interest in him but as I recall, he hasn't had a good season in like....let me count. 2010 no, 2009 no, 2008 no, 2007 uhhhmmmmm getting closer.
so you never know, he is no doubt looking for his last Super Bowl opportunity, this might be it for him (here in Indy)...perhaps he would be willing
to do some of those injections before each game and suck it up and make some friggin' tackles. might need them at half-time too. they are NOT illegal and I think it could really be an answer for him. If he can still leg squat which I heard he can, then we might have something there.
-
he makes the 53, i'll drink a sweaty buffalo drink. trust me, i don't want to drink that, it has cottage cheese in it!! no way in bakersfield he makes the cut. his knees are like Norwegian cheese. Lot's of holes these days.

Done nothing for the defense...cough cough Anderson cough cough Sims...I know they aren't superstars, but they are both solid players
2006; Sims was yet another Matt Millen overdraft - he was taken ninth overall despite serious concussion issues in college. So far, he's been most noted in the NFL as a rangy but undisciplined player who tends to whiff mightily in space.
Anderson -- scouting report on him of late is that he is too predictable, too slow, no range, no explosive jab step, no spin move worth discussing, injuries have already caught up to him, teammates could say he's a liability, etc, etc, etc.
-
ANSWER: It certainly isn't the Ernie Sims led Colts.

I think we all realize how long a season this will be for the following reasons:
1) Injuries will plague this team again. It's simply too old of a team not to be. (come back later in season and tell me I was right, cause I am!)
2) Manning neck will be a pain in the ______ oh, neck
3) Offensive Line will be an Offensive Line (Polian, this one's on you)
4) Free Agent signings are so far, a joke, like always
5) Defensive woes were sooo atrocious last year that I think everybody really does forget about how bad it was because of the other turmoil going on.
6) We didn't wait for Bob Sanders to get healthy. He will be terrorizing people vs. the Chargers. He is the real deal and will be awesome this year!
mark my words on all of this.
THANKS FOR READING Y'ALL!!!

This is pathetic, just sign the guy! Losing Johnson is bad enough, this kid has a lot to learn in a very short time-period. Had they been able to, Peyton would have probably had training classes (textbook style) already. Don't * off Constanzo, it will only hurt down the road.
-
Agree with Bayone. Also, even without the two new rookies (which i believe we've only signed one because Canstanzo is holding out), we would have struggled even with CJ, now it's going to be a real epic problem if something is not done quickly.

he was supposed to come into Bills camp at at-least 250, he showed up at 223 and they about gagged on a spoon, they were ticked off like you wouldn't believe.
Saying they were ticked off is an understatement. He was already setting himself up for special teams and backup LB duty at best, then he shows up at the same weight as the coaches mother, not going to cut it. That's a joke people, geez!
