Asking people sarcastic questions like this one:
Do you know why adults always ask little kids what do you wanna be when they grow up? They are looking for ideas about possible career choices themselves. HA! HA!

Now, Mr. Whiley always refers to himself in the 3rd person. Bob hates this. Bob loves that sort of thing. Also, another forum member, Blood ON The Tracks, informed me that a character on "Seinfeld" named "Jimmy" used this comedic device first.</div><div> </div><div>Why do I do this? Simple really. I always thought that speaking in the 3rd person is a great comical device to act as though a person is observing life's events from a distance above it all like a near death experience almost as if you are watching someone else live vicariously through you. In a nutshell, I am paying homage to Bob & Jimmy because I have a fondness for brilliant comedians that make you think & are kind of like the protest singers of my generation George Carlin, Bill Maher etc. etc.</div>

  1. One of my favorite TV shows to watch on Showtime on Sunday nights is called "Billions." I say that because the premise of the storyline revolves around a greedy, WallStreet hedge fund CEO & the Attorney General in the Southern District of NY City. Money vs Regulation; Unlimited fiscal resources vs a tight federal budget.

The other segment of the program that I really enjoy is that the musical score pays homage to classic metal bands like Ratt & Metallica in previous seasons. I will demonstrate my point in a second. Thank you for your patience...

The other feature that "Billions" demonstrates with petty precision is how the compulsion to win in lucrative financial transactions, courtroom battles, & lawsuits never disappears regardless of how much money you may have or not have in your bank account.

Your entire existence/alter ego is contingent on never backing down, never admitting a mistake was made, & never showing any visible signs of weakness both on the prosecutor side & the I'm invincible hedge fund; god side.

I despise that characteristic in real life, but I love to watch it play out in a cat & mouse fictional setting though. It's fascinating to watch. 2 men who will never capitulate anything publicly to their arch rival.

In addition, whether you have a high profile position in the grand scheme of the Justice Dept. or throw around more 7 figure WallStreet deals then most blue collar citizens will earn in their lifetime; it's still refreshing to see folks in a different income bracket with ordinary problems like relationship issues, child rearing issues; losing valuable employee assets that depart for new challenges elsewhere, & bedroom shortcomings where their work & personal lives get intertwined.

I like knowing that billions in income doesn't make problems go away. It just increases enemy forces howling at your door to get a piece of you through favors or to obliterate you & replace you. Money creates more problems then it alleviates on average. I mean liquid money here BTW.
