A runway strut for a fashionable, sparkling boot shoe sounds kinda cool to be. Your daughter will be setting glamorous fashion trends in her school in no time flat. AWESOME INDEED!!!

  3. anyone else see the Yahoo sports article titled "Manning, Broncos open vs Steelers".. the accompanying picture is of Tom Coughlin!!!!! What??????

As a journalist, Peyton should have been adjacent to the article, and 'Related content" could stay where it is....with Coughlin below. This was a poor journalistic choice with even worse editing.

    3. southwest1

Yup, clearly an editing oversight & layout glitch IMO. Right on the money as usual Brent.

I know what you mean forum friends. I'm more excited about this NFL season than ever before...Some many compelling storylines...Will Peyton return to form? Will Eli & the G-Men defend their title, Will Luck bring the Horseshoe respectability again? Will Rex Ryan flop with Tebow & get fired? Will the Saints completely unravel this year? Strap in for an unforgettable ride ladies & gentlemen.

Wow MCF, memorable situations tend to unfold around you...Sorry about the lightning, house, property damage, & dog reaction...understandable though. Our family cat hated severe storms after surviving a tornado. She made herself scarce everytime bad storms came around. I'm glad no one in your family was injured though. I'm glad your girls won their soccer game. Very Cool!!!

MI Colts: We took in 26 at one point.....that is when my schedule cleared up and I grew a scraggly beard! HA HA! I miss the unconditional love of an abused dog....when they know you love them...their eyes never leave you. The stories I could tell.

  6. Oh my goodness! my youngest broke her foot Wed nigth at youth group..her foot was actually crushed! If you knew this girls history with breaking herself, you'd know how crazy this is... this makes broken bone number 5 and she is not even 12 yet! This child is responsible for every grey hair on my head.... fall at the YMCA = broken finger, gets pulled out of a tree house by a child going on zip line = compound complete wrist fracture (so gross, half her arm was one direction, the other half the other direction, mom threw up), body falls out of play house but leg gets stuck in window = complete fracture of tibia, bad spotting during gymnastics = broken spondula (back vertabre), having foot crushed at youth group = broken foot!!...

    4. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

exactly, so they start earlier out west, what's the big deal! they can DVR and catch up, we'd be a day behind if we DVR'd it.. I hate when the Wings play out west, and so do my co-workers (because I'm a zombie) :)

"Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning!" I love that Navy expression. My dad uses it all the time when he knows stormy weather is a brewing. Don't forget, "Red sky at night sailors delight" too. The irony is that my dad served in the U.S. Army yet he always quoted popular Naval expressions. Figure that 1 out. Before you ask, he swam just fine & had no fear of water at all, but he is claustrophobic so no tight surroundings for him or sub duty either.

    3. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

haha, SW I found both the morning and the night expressions to be true for the Big Lake, not sure about the ocean, it's unsalted here! Kudos to your Dad for serving! My Dad and brother are Navy Veterans. God Bless those who serve!

SW: We will NOT be the worst team in the league!!!

    3. KaylaD

      KaylaD

No, we will not be the worst. I think we will be better then most think. I think these players will have a chip on there shoulder knowing how everyone thinks they will be no good. I think Pagano will use that chip to get them revved up and go smash some people and show them what we got! We may not be the best but we will be our best and we will be better then they think!

    4. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

exactly Kayla, (chip)grinding the ax will make everyone play a little more fierce.. if only to prove a point.. and there are plenty of team axes... Colts, Lions, Saints, Pacs, Pats, Jets, Cowboys, Redskins...and individual axes will make for a highly competitive year! so exciting!

    4. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

I think Drew has some talent, for sure a good understanding of the QB position and has lots to offer Luck in that respect, he physically is not the best QB out there.. don't get me started regarding Painter, lol!!!! what do the mods say? "if you don't have anything nice....."

I felt the MSU kids played hard. They NEVER had any rhythm on offense. Izzo took the blame....good for him, but the players did not play MSU basketball against the zone.

    3. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

Ohio State jogged down the floor (Sully and Thomas) all year long and got beat for it. Craft and Buford seemed to give more effort. Sullinger has played hard in the tournament to help his draft stock. Anthony Davis will block any shot....if they play UK

    4. KaylaD

      KaylaD

I agree IU played UK so much stronger then Baylor. I was more worried about Ky beating Baylor and UK kicked there butt! Anthony Davis is a beast and so is Kidd-Gilchrest! (sp?) I was shocked by Michigan as well. I was happy about Duke!

  17. Oh my goodness, MSU! what the.............???? bracket busters!

    1. BNS

      BNS

Louisville is my 2nd favorite team and I never thought they'd hang on to win that game. Tonight my Hoosiers play UK and I hope it's a repeat of the classic game in December, with the same outcome.

    2. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

hang on to win? Louisville kicked some butt! MSU played terrible, was a shock, they had a chance to go so much farther. GO IU!

  18. I'm still wondering where Dallas Clark might land? anyone know? Saturday to Broncos?

    1. BrentMc11

    3. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

that would be fun to see Dallas with Peyton in Denver, and Saturday too. nothing on Addai. Lions signed Lacey the other day, was glad to hear that.

One thing I give Tom Brady is he may be the worst college QB to ever reach elite status in my time. I am not looking up statistics. Just my observation.....Aaron Rodgers had a rough start trying to be noticed until Cal approached him. Maybe Bob Knight should have started the Discount Double Check (not to be confused with the Bill Belichick)

    3. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

oh I agree Brent, everyone here glosses over how bad he was for UofM and just focuses on his stint with the Patriots, who have made him look good. I just remind them that the Brady rule, is really the "don't mess Brady's hair rule", you wouldn't want his COWlic to show.. (my bad attempt to join the earlier cow humor)

    4. ColtsPRIDE11

      ColtsPRIDE11

The only two reasons Brady has had success in NE is: Belichick (I CANNOT stand the man, but he is a good coach) and the awesome offense that surronds him. In his case, his offense makes him look better than he actually is (whereas Yoda makes the players around him look better than some of them actually are). In Whiney Baby's case, the talent that surrounds him covers up where he is lacking.

  20. maybe Tebow could take a league min. and learn from the master.. or they could put him on the O line to block for Peyton! ;)

    4. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

poor Tim, he helped the Broncs win 7 or 8 games? with a few great 4th quarter come backs, he has some skill, just needs some work still at QB. He is built like a FB, has some speed to be TE, but can he catch? I think he's a good fit for Jags, but did they pick up a QB? I think they did.. he'll do well where ever he lands I'm sure.
