  1. Going to post this question here instead of regular post. Just interested right now in my regular friends on here and not the whole community. Fantasy Football: do you play? how many years? how many leagues and players?

I too have never played fantasy football either & prefer to analyze on the field or TV screen identical to Brent. For those that enjoy fantasy football, great, have fun, more power to ya. Just not my cup of tea I guess that's all.

    3. MAC

      MAC

Never played. When it first started coming out I thought that it sounded like THE coolest thing, but it wasn't organized like it is now. I had no idea where to play and little time to consider organizing something. Then the more that I learned about it, the less I liked it. I've always enjoyed office pools - running them for years - but fantasy football seems like a game within a game that I don't quite get. And where I first I thought that I was "geeky" enough that it wou...

would be right up my alley, now I'd be a rank amateur compared to the guys who are devoted to this. I have no interest in investing the time needed to succeed at it - nor in rooting for players I can't stand playing for teams whose fortunes are diametrically at odds with the Colts.

  2. Have plumber replacing 2 sillcocks in crawlspace this morning. Had soil test done Monday as it looks like new septic drain field is needed. Trying to find a copy of the movie Moneypit, lol

Yard work sounds sufficient.....I would try and get that swim in buddy....that will help those legs.

    3. alawai

      alawai

OK as long as it's not the President's Secret Service agents and their friends.

Did my swim on M/W and I started to up my light lifting and that's really ^messing^ up my strokes. My strokes are bad enough but I was swimming sideways and many times into the other lane!

Colts games will all be officiated from an air conditioned booth with a well stocked mini bar. Brent is handling the home games, I will go on the road for the away games. Rest of the league is on their own

"After further review, play stands as called!" Touchdown Reggie. Hey Jimmy we are out of Vodka! Make a run!!

    4. southwest1

      southwest1

"no zebras needed.. put a chip in the ball to track location (have been ready for the chains to go for a long time anyway) make calls from video clips." This is a great idea MCF!!! Laser beam camera sensors work quite well in the game of professional tennis to determine whether a ball is in bounds or out of bounds. Why not a pigskin computer chip? As long as it won't malfunction in the rain/extreme cold etc.

  3. Pool finally filled, kids and grandkids love it, toooo cold for the old man. Added a few pics to gallery. everyone have a super sunday

    1. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

I agree 100% with Maureen CM51. Your loyal fan base would love to see before, during, & after shots of your pool's glorious Colts transformation. Take picture & post them in a gallery exhibit on the Forum if you can buddy. That would be so cool to see IMO!!! Just give it some thought my friend.

A horseshoe in your pool sounds AWESOME CM51!!! Like MCF said, take some pictures when it is done. That would be cool to see!!!

  8. Well the Draft is done, lots of Offense taken, UDFA at this point total 13 with 10 of them being Defense, think the FO has a plan?? I do.

    1. HungarianColtsFan

      HungarianColtsFan

They have a plan! How they can fulfill it is an other question.

    2. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

Without question they do. Grigson knows who we have....and we have talent. We needed weapons for our QB...Even though Chapman was injured this past year, we got a young NT. Still wishing we had gotten a DB or two. That said, there is a plan!

    3. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

gotta put the points on the board and we are set up well to do just that...

  9. brutal end to game, Pacers had this one and couldn't hold onto the lead or hit the basket last 5 minutes

    1. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

A horrific effort against a very poor team. The defense against the drive 'stunk.'

  10. just checked draft board, only 5 pics for us today, traded off one of 6th round

Guess what! My prediction is under Grigson, Mr irrelevant will make the team and so will 2 or 3 undrafted free agents.

I hope he isn't went down to deep and someone can pull him out of that mess.

      southwest1

When the long arm of the law does catch Ryan Leaf & they will, I sincerely hope Leaf receives the physical & psychological medical treatment he so desperately needs. His life is spiraling out of control & he is not a worthless individual to be discarded & throw away forever. He must pay the price for his criminal acts, but I fear addiction may kill him if he isn't treated ASAP.

CM51: We need to 'stay the course with quality football players and outstanding young citizens....not give in to thuggery. The Pacers learned that lesson.
